It's enough that you have to be on hold so long sometimes to book/modify a ressie-but that crackling, broken up music they put you on hold with drives me insane. I don't remember it being so bad in past years. Anyone else?

the music I have been hearing is wonderful - brings back memories.
 
The music is always fine when I call, It might be the connection because Ive called once and it was a little broken up. I actually called a few days ago just so I could hear the music and get that Disney feeling:lmao: It brought back great memories and got me pumped up for my next trip in 28 days!!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:
 
I get the broken up music as well, but I think its me, because my cell phone only gets a bar or 2 in my apartment. But if you get full bars, then maybe they have some sort of satellite connection , and maybe clouds or storms cause that. I could be way off, its just a guess of mine. I dont mind it, but it happens to me alot and not just disney, its on any hold, even local places. Im guessing its me. :tiptoe:
 

Funny you should mention it. I was just on hold tonight waiting to change some room requests and I definitely noticed the music keppt breaking up and cutting in and out.
 
I was on hold for a long time today and the music was very broken up, skipped around, had long stretches of "white noise" roaring over it, etc etc. It was definitely not my phone or the connection, it was definitely some problem with their system. Hope it gets fixed before I call again tomorrow.
 
I have definetly heard worse:guilty: . Who doesn't love a little Disney ditti to be stuck in their head all day? I do however feel the wait times are getting longer and longer and longer.


On a side note, where in Southern Il are you chamonix? Just wondering no real importance, I live in Highland.
 
Oh I love the disney ditties, but the system was so messed up you couldn't even hear the music half the time!

I'm in Carbondale, but I have been in Highland many times. I had a good friend who lived there for a few years, but she has since moved away. (we're still friends, of course, though I now visit her in Nashville TN)

Thinking about Highland is making me think about drinking some "real" Ski! Now I'm thirsty! :)
 
I can take staticy music over the............ click..........and gee.........after 10 of navagating thru the automated voice system...........I have been cut off:headache:

I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Cingular. You know, the new system where they want you to talk to the automated voice system.:mad: Don't even try hitting "0" anymore. Those days are long gone.:sad2:
 
Yeah I called dining today and the music went in and out. The cast member was fine. It's some glitch I guess.
 
I dont mind the music, but the prompts that you have to go through just to talk to someone is really annoying. I mean really, how many times are you going to ask me if this is my first visit? GRRR
 
They do need to fix that music. Each time I call I am wondering if something is wrong with my phone, but once the CM comes on, everything is fine.

Yes, me! My last several calls have nearly prompted me to tell the reserv. agent that Disney can afford to change it's music track!! :lmao:
 
I don't listen to the "on hold" stuff. I'm playing my own Disney music on the PC while I wait. Once a human comes on the line, I hit my mute button on the media player.
 
I wish they'd fix it. When it goes off you wonder if the system dropped your call or they are still there. I'm sure we've all made enough visits there ourselves for them to be able to fix it. But it should be a US mandate that to reach an operator you press 0.
