Does the whole group have to be present to get reunion buttons?

I'm wondering if I can pick up family reunion buttons a few days in advance for family members who will be arriving soon. Can one person pick them up for the whole family? Or does each person have to be present at the time, to receive a button?

If I can get the buttons in advance, that way we could arrive with them on our day at the park together, and wouldn't have to take time out of our reunion to pick up the buttons.
