Bit of a strange question, I'm sure - but DD has another two teeth that have started wobbling this morning - and if past experience is anything to go by they'll take anything from one day to 20 to fall out!!

So - of course she's asked the question this morning, "wow, I wonder how many dollars I'll get from the tooth fairy if they came out while we're on holiday - how many dollars does one pound make, mum?".

I did say I wasn't sure if they have the same tooth fairy, but hoping one of our US visitors may be able to help;)

Thanks so much

Of course we have the tooth fairy! What do you think we are? Heathens? ;)

I put Gold Sacagawea Dollars under DS's pillow. They're really pretty coins, not unlike your pound coin. When I first get them from the bank they are very shiny.

I need to go by my bank on Monday and see if I can get a roll of them. I seem to remember hearing something about them being discontinued. You can see them at www.USMint.com. I'll let you know what my bank has to say about them, if you're interested.

Of course, you could always do Mickey bucks.

I always told myself I'd use Disney dollars if either of my kids lost a tooth at WDW. Well this year DS did lose a tooth and was I prepared? No. He was none the wiser and just as happy with a regular dollar. We did try and tell him Tinkerbell brought it, but at 11 he goes along with his mother's stories just to get the money.

Still it might be nice to use Disney dollars - maybe next time.

Thanks for the responses:D Steph, special thanks for the offer of those Gold coins which I've been trying to pronounce for the last 10 minutes;)

BUT

DD has JUST come in grinning from ear to ear . . . her tooth is out already. That's another one in record time:rolleyes: The other one has stopped wobbling (I suspect it was one next to the one just popped out and she could feel general movement).

However, just to be on the safe side, because she seems to be losing them fast, I'll get some Mickey $.

Thanks again
:D x

Two weeks to go - to DLP and we have a wobbly tooth - do they do Mickey/Disney euros????
