Does the time period of a discount ever get extended?

I'm not sure I worded that well, but here's what I mean. We are going Mar 1 - 9 staying at YC. So far we have a discount that covers all but our last night since the current offer ends March 7th. Of course that last night is also the first day of peak season AND a weekend date so the rate is sky high So is there a chance that they might extend the dates covered by the current discount so that my last night would be covered? Or would they just come out with a different discount that starts March 8th?

Yes, to both.

There's no way to really plan on either, but they've done both. They've extended deals by a few days here and there (I believe last year and this year for the fall discounts).

It's probably more likely they'll come out with a new offer.
