Someone posted that the ship "shuts down" by midnight, and that everyone is in their rooms by then. Is this true? Does the adult clubs close that early also? I am a night person who loves to listen to music. My daughter and I planned on alternating staying with DGS at night so that we can enjoy the band/DJ. I guess with this being a family cruise line, it's possible that people don't party late. I guess I will have to just sit on deck and take late night walks, which won't be a problem, as long as I am on that ship:)
We are on the Magic 9/6

The Oceaneer's Club for kids doesn't close until 1 am. I'm sure there's a lot going on for those "older" night owls!

Ha! Not for my 8 yr old. She didn't get home every night until about 1:00 am! That was shortly after we got a page on our pager that said "This is just a courtesty page reminding you the Oceaneer's Lab closes in 10 minutes. Please come pick up your child." ;)

Rockin Bar D is open till 2:00am

Just ask the TEENs....I think they rule the ship late at night!

The ship might not shut down by midnight, but I probably will!!! I'm a morning person, up by 5am, 7 days a week. This late dining time is going to throw me for a loop, LOL!!!

It will probably take me a few weeks to get back on schedule once we arrive home after the cruise!!!

Thanks everybody. That't good to know that there are options.
everyone have a safe and great 4th.

The ship definitely has things to do until 2pm. My teens sometimes stay out even later (which really makes me nervous.) You will have a blast with the evening activities.:smooth:

All the way until 2pm, I won't even need an afternoon nap!!!

Gee, I'm not sure if I can stay up until 2pm... I'm a morning person and by 2pm, I'd need a nap.. one reason for getting a verandah.
If you're worry about your teens staying out after 2pm., what would happen if they stayed out after 2 AM?:jester:

Jeanny  (sorry couldn't resist)....

Verandah Man, I'm an early riser too. I'm usually up by 4:30am most every day. But when you get on that ship your internal clock changes. We were up till 1-2am every night (morning?) and never got up before 7am.

DITTO, Andy! I wear out long before Michael and Mom - usually they have to tuck me in and go partying by themselves! What does that say about us when a 74 year old woman and 8 year old kid can out last us?

Maybe we were rode hard and put away wet!

Happy Trails!

Yes, by that time I'm ready to burp after a filling lunch...

I thought THAT was your nap time?!
