Does the POP have a pool bar?

Does the inside Bar/lounge have TVs? I was just curious because there are a few sporting events that I might want to keep an eye on while my wife is asleep with our little ones.

The outside bar at Pop does have TV's and they were always on sports. Have fun!!!!!

I can't imagine drinking while my kids are swimming. Scary. To each their own I guess.

Exactly - to each their own. There is NOTHING wrong with having a drink poolside while your children are swimming. If there was, why would Disney put a bar at the pool. (or any hotel for that matter?)

OP enjoy your cocktail.

they are definitely the best.

adults are surpose to take care of themselves. so they constantly watch the kids. (oh we are talking about 3' of water here)

The bar always appeared busy.....its a great spot. The 60's pool area is the best at POP IMO and having a room in this area was convenient as well. Not sure abt other times other than March though.
Petals is a plus to POP...all I know is that what they charge for those concoctions :)...one is enough:)

How much are we talking about for one fancy drink? $5, $7, $9, $12???

I really hope the tone of sarcasm I sense from your post REL1203 is wrong......???
Infer what you will.....I could buy a nice bottle of Chardonnay for about $30 that will last longer than 2 "fancy drinks", including tip...for abt the same:)

That was my point:)

I didn't detect any sarcasm from REL1203's post. I think he/she was just wondering about the price of the drinks...that's how I took it, anyway. i don't remember exactly how much they cost, but they were pretty pricey! Anyhoo, I just wanted to say that, yes, the inside bar at Pop does have televisions. There was a basketball game on when I was there a year ago. The only reason i remember is coz they were showing Eva Longoria, who was at the game.

Wow Disney bride... I dont know where you thought I was being sarcastic from... I was really wondering what they cost.... plain and simple... $12/drink is extremely expensive, i agree... dont know where you thoguht I was being sarcastic from... my apologies if you thought that

Dh and I paid $20 for two drinks with tip (and it wasn't that good of a tip). It depends on what you get, but it is disney. Everything is always priced higher than what you would normally pay.

Nothing wrong with just having a drink.. they didnt say they were going to get sloshed or anything... just a relaxing drink is not a problem

Getting sloshed is half the fun! I usually have a dozen or so beers and try to see how far I can throw my 2 year old daughter into the pool!

Nothing like a little family fun. :thumbsup2

REL1203....I am sorry:) Just had come from another thread where a few were being....un Disney like. So I obviously inferred your question witht the wrong attitude, I apologize:) I owe you a $12 drink:)

One pool bar....at the main pool...Hippy Dippy Pool.:drinking1

There is no pool bar at the bowling pin or the computer pool...

I'm pretty sure we paid $7 each for a pina colada at Petals. And we got to watch some football. Good times!

Here is some info about prices I found on the net!
The is probably not the complete list, but it will give you an idea of price ranges! :)
Drinks

Selection of Draft & Bottled Beer - Priced $4.50 - $5.50
Selection of Drinks on the Rocks - Choose from Captain's Mai Tai or Poolside Lemonade. Souvenir cup included. - $9.50
Selection of Frozen Beverages - Choose from Pina CoLava, Orange Creamsicle, or Mango Margarita. Souvenir cup included. - $9.50
Selection of Non-Alcoholic Beverages - Choose from Sour Apple Freeze $3.99, Espresso Freeze $4.29, Full Throttle Energy Drink $4.25, and Evian bottled water $3.00

Televisions in both bars with sports on but learn from my misstake no choice words. I got in trouble in a bar saying something while watching Miami FSU last Labor Day. Only time I have ever got in trouble in a bar. Drink prices by the way were reasonable.

LOL better than trying to see how far you can throw them OUT of the pool! :rotfl:
