if so, what are they like? generic pirate, Captain Hook or jack sparrow?

do most people come for makeup already dressed up or buy and get dressed there?

what about the mermaids?

we have been to BBB, but this is the first PL visit.

PP gave you a great link, but I just wanted to add that some wear own clothes/costume, and some buy outfit package there, similar to BBB. DD wore own shimmery, aqua dress we found on Amazon for her Mermaid makeover, and we just got the basic package, which I think was about $40( has been a few years). She loved it, and wore the color-changing flower clip and jewelry several times at home with other outfits afterwards. ( not sure why the pic gets inserted sideways and can't seem to rotate it!)
