Does the PGA Tour event @ WDW in October affect crowds?

My wife and & will be in WDW October 20-28th, and the Pga Tour has an event @ the Magnolia & Palm. Anyone who has been during the tourmanent in previous years, does this affect crowds? Dining patterns? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I would say you hit the nail on the head. Dining and room reservations are the hardest hit. I have family coming in for 10 days in October and there is not a room on property for them.

Hopefully during the day they will not have much of an impact on the crowds. But in the eveing I'm sure they will.
