A weird question, I know. My DD wants to be Phineas one of the Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion for Halloween. Was wondering if there is a street address where the haunted mansion is supposed to be to put on the outside of his suitcase? Want to make a connection to WDW so people will know who she is. Have read a bit all over the internet but haven't seen this mentioned. THanks, cjbear

It may have an internal address but nothing any one outside of the parks would know.

Maybe there is something on the building or in the audio, but again if you are having this much trouble finding it, it may not be well known and therefor not have the connection you are looking for

It does not, and never has.

The suggestion of "Haunted Mansion, Liberty Square, Disney World" is a great one. If you want something a little more "spooky", Disneyland's official address is "1313 S. Harbor Blvd". You could always put that, and maybe have the "o" in "Harbor" be a Hidden Mickey.

In the HM Movie (w/Eddie Murphey), Eddie works for a Real Estate Company and they go to the HM to list the house. Maybe you could look real close in the movie and see if there's an address? Although I think that one is modeled after the one in Disneyland, it would still be the Disney connection.

Even if there is one from the movie and you put on the suitcase in big letters, only the very few people who are huge fans of the movie :rotfl2: are going to look at the costume and the address and immediately think Phineas one of the ghosts a the Haunted Mansion at WDW.

I think you need to put the words Haunted Mansion on the luggage for people to get it. I just happened to find the font you need.

I agree that although the costume idea is brilliant, even I (HUGE HM FAN) would not guess that's what he is. That doesn't mean he shouldn't do it... just know that it's pretty out there:goodvibes

I would just put "Haunted Mansion, Liberty Square, Walt Disney World".

ITA. I was thinking something Like "Haunted Mansion, Orlando, Florida"

FTR: I know that WDW is not in Orlando but most people (not us here but the general population) think it is!

Though I do like the Liberty Square thing better! :thumbsup2

Its like I dress up as a vampire and have something with 1313 Mockingbird Lane on it, very few people today will think Grampa from the Munsters.

Most tweens would say hey thats not what vampires look like they look like this.

I think that costume idea is brilliant! I personally wouldn't make the connection, but it's still okay that she dresses up like that for herself and not for other people to know who she's trying to dress as.
