I didn't really look at any other nearby kiosks, as Mrs U had already gotten wine from France and I was thirsty!!
The only problem was (and this is true of all the beers I've had at F&W) is that it wasn't as cold as I like beer. And it got warm REAL fast in the outdoor heat!!

All that means if you have to drink it fast

Just returned and we did NOT see a beer tasting at the R&C, might have missed it, but . . . .
The Boston Brewing tasting was very short pours, aand they had been sitting out for a while. Pay for a cold one - their Festival beer was good.
Oh, for the Belgium pavillion . . .

Since this thread is a resurrected one that is about 3 years old I should probably note here that the R&C beer seminar and the Germany keg tapping are no longer offered.

In non festival times, R&C offers a beer sampling of 4 or 5 beers I think, it is on the menu I believe. 6 oz pours, can't remember the price, but I am sure it is not cheap.
