Does the 40% military offer also apply to the dining plan?

I've just called and received some numbers from Disney for our trip in June 2014. But when I try to run the numbers myself and take 40% off the room, then add the dining plan, my numbers are $600 higher. What am I figuring wrong? When I look at the numbers in front of me, 40% off the dining plan is right at $600. This leads me to my my question for you all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. The DDP is full price. The discount is only on the room.

No, the discount only applies to the room portion of the reservation. You pay full price for the dining plan, personally it's not worth it.
