Does the 2 hour rule apply to $lLL purchases?

I know that once I book a Genie + ride I have to either ride it or wait two hours to book my next one but does that apply for a $LL as well? For example if I book a 9-10am window for Millennium Falcon can I also buy a 9:30-10:30am window for RoTR at the same time?

Yes. If you're on Disney property guest you can purchase 2 ILL at 7am. Or you can purchase 2 at park opening time for off property guests. But that's it. You only get 2 for the whole day. If you're park hopping you can also choose 1 at each park. But its 2 max per day.

Thanks! Any idea what time you would get as a resort guest purchasing RoTR at 7am? I don’t want to ride it during the first two hours when I plan on taking advantage of standby lines so I would like to target a window around 10-11am.

That’s for WDW. At DLR it opens once your in the park for everyone.

Will all 3 rides show up as options to buy immediately after I scan into the park (even if they let us in a bit early)?

Can you cancel (and rebook a ILL) in case you can't make your original window - or if you change your mind and want to pick a different ride?

Is there any hope of purchasing ILL if you enter the park really late? In other words, what time do all 3 ILL rides usually sell out for the day?

ILL’s are not cancelable or changeable. All 3 will be available at park open. For reference you should play around using the tip board in the app which is where you look ILLs from. And as an example, this past Saturday both RSR and web slingers were still against into the early afternoon. ROTR is usually gone by 11/12.

ROTR pretty much sells out before 7:05AM. So the likelihood of getting and early time is very rare. Typically you will see initially a time earlier like 10am and click it and by the time you check out it's already saying 5pm. ROTR is basically you get what you get and are happy about it lol because there are MANY people who don't get 1 at all sadly. Typically anyone not on property isn't getting a ROTR ILL.

ROTR gone by 11/12? Are you referring to Disneyland maybe? WDW ROTR is open 7am and sold out by 7:05 almost every single day. Sometimes if you keep refreshing you may see some more time slots open up within 15mins. But if by 7:30 you don't have 1 they're gone for the day.

Yes referring to Disneyland. This question was asked on the Disneyland section of the boards.

Yes, but note that at Disneyland for both genie+ and ILL it will give you the next available time. At WDW for ILL you can pick your “window”.

Sorry to jump onto this thread, but to clarify, if I want to purchase a ILL, I MUST choose the next available time? There's not a list of all future options (like in mobile ordering food)? That's what it sounds like, just want to be prepared.

Correct. Your time will be what the app spits back at you. You can refresh for a different time, but you are not able to pick the window.

At Disneyland can you book a second LL two hours after if your return time for your first LL is hours away? My understanding was that you could only have one unless you got the special one for ride broken down

If the ride return is more than 2 hours away you can book your next one after 2 hours. It works the way maxpass did for next booking.

I'm glad that guests at DLR have a few hours to book their ILL for RISE before it sells out. Out of curiosity, why does WDW sell out in 5 mins? Do they simply have a higher capacity of people reserving ahead of time, because they are staying on-site at one of Orlando's zillion WDW resorts?!

It’s because of the on-site availability to book. There are close to 20k hotel rooms at WDW that are eligible to book then.
