Does Talbot's ever do sales or coupons?

I never shop there but found a coat I love but I don't love it for $349. Do any of you know if they do sales or coupon codes? Thanks

If you can wait until 12/26, they usually have a great sale.

They do sales a lot. Check online, they always have discounts. Also, check and see if there is a Talbots Outlet by you. I have one and it is amazing!

They constantly send me e-mails with deals. Check their website to see if there is someplace you can sign up to get e-mails with special offers. Also check facebook - you might be able to do this through google or yahoo even if you aren't on facebook.

Since the sale technically starts on the 26th, all of the tickets have to show the markdown prior to store opening on the 26th. I haven't checked in several years, but our store started marking things down several days before Christmas, in order to have it all ready for the 26th.

They have a red phone in the stores. If what you want isn't in the store, you can order on the red phone. I think shipping will then be about $5 instead of the ridiculous amount they charge for shipping on the website.

sign up for emails.... the other day I got an email for "40% off coats during your lunch time". it was from like 11 am - 2pm on coats. But I've gotten a few like that lately

involves CONSTANT markdowns...they bring in a new line & it is marked down within a month or 2...
Plus the last couple of times I've gone in I have gotten % off coupons for certain days.
I do a considerable amount of my personal clothing shopping at Talbots--ALWAYS on sale.

Thanks for telling me to wait. I watched after Christmas but the coat still was too high for me. I've looked at the site about once a week since then.

I bought the coat I wanted last night for around $81 (down from $349) as well as a pair of pants & another peacoat. I got all three for a total of $166, plus free shipping.

The same coat today is back up to $173.
