Does Stormalong Bay have a lazy river?

It's the pool or some might say, mini water park, shared by the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

Anyone know how much the rental fee is for the transparent tubes? Or where I could find them for sale this late in the season? We'll be there in March, and I can't wait!

I couldn't find them at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc but finally found them at Sports Authority - maybe check your local sporting good stores! They were 40% off but still had a bunch of them.

A CM told my DH that the lazy river is so deep because when SAB first opened, that area housed live fish (and was blocked so you couldn't swim in it.)

No, I was working for a travel agency when the Yacht and Beach Club opened and came down for a Familiarization trip with Delta Airlines, there were no fish in there, it was a chlorinated part of the swimming pool even then.

Kudos to you for sharing your noodles with those little girls and how tacky of that guy to try and sell his in the lobby . Apparently he has never heard of "pay it forward" or "random acts of kindness". Talk about your bad karma!

Thanks, I love doing things like that. I hope they passed them on when they left. We also found a very nice family to give our umbrella stroller to on our last day. They were so sweet, they didn't think to bring a stroller for their 3/4 year old and she was begging for one on their first day. It felt good to pay it forward.
