Does Southwest fly out of Phila????

I looked on the SW website and Phila was not listed under departures. What do you make of that???

PHL is not one of the ciites they currently fly out of. Either fly out of Baltimore or pick another carrier.

You know, I am a lot of things...one thing I am not, is stupid. While my original question may have seemed obviously stupid to some, my point in asking was this.... I did not know if Southwest flew out of Philadelphia at all or if they did, Phila was not one of the departure cities available for the fare sale.

GAIL HAYDEN feels she must chime in on every post, becasue she thinks she is the Transportation queen. Please don't take her badgering personally. She constantly attacks people on this board.

Since SWA doesn't fly out of PHL you still may want to keep an eye on the BWI sales to MCO. USAir may match some of the lower fares. USAir has a hub in PHL, but I am sure you know that if you live in PHL.

Did not imply that you were stupid nor do I think that. My answer was simple and concise. The list includes only the cities they fly from or to. I am truly sorry if you took it anyway but informational.

Actually I interperted your post as asking if anyone knew if SW was planning to add PHL in the near future.

I thought the question wasn't worded they way you intended. I'm know to type faster than I think and thought you did the same.

This is a big IF SW ever comes to the Philly area, they won't be flying out of PHL. SW has been in negotiations with (not sure if they are still on going) to come to the Trenton airport in NJ. That way, they'd be able to serve both NYC and PHL, with an out of the way airport. That's the way SW prefers to utilize airports.

I would agree with you if I had something personal against the OP, but, I do not, nor do I have a reason to have something against this person. Trust me, when I am sarcastic, I do own up to it and have no reason to avoid any responsibility.
