Does SeaWorld San Diego ever have discounts?

Sea World is SOOO expensive. We're going to Disneyland for 3 days and want to go back to SW this summer, but it's hard to pony up the $300 for it! I've thought about getting the City Pass, but we did the zoo last year and don't want to do anything other than DL and SW. Just wondered if there were ever 2-for-1 deals there or something similar?

Thanks!

Someone posted a link here recently that included a $6 off per person coupon to Seaworld(not huge, but better than nothing). I can't find it now, but I hope the coupon I printed at home has the link at the bottom.

if you are going toward the end of April try getawaytoday , it is adults for kids price i cehecked for April 21

Thank you AlbertaMommy, but we're going in June. And thanks, GrumpyPirate for the links. I had forgotten Mousesavers has info on SW.

That's the AAA price so thanks! It's $6 off so that's $30. Maybe there will be some great deal that comes up for June. If not, I'll have to buy the tickets and just forget about the price as I enjoy watching Shamu!

You might want to check with someone who works in a union/government environment. I work for the state of new york and just checked at our union's website and can get seaworld(san diego) tickets for $36 each. I am assuming that this price discount is offered at more than just one union.

Last year when we went in July they had 2 deals going at once. Now I'm trying to remember exactly what the options were. I think you could either pay the full price and get the rest of the year free (like getting an AP for part of the year) or you could pay the kid's price and get 2 days for the price of one.

I usually buy passes from Costco in the San Diego area. We get the yearly passport for about $20 less than at the gate. They sell day passes too. You could look on their website to see if it's a better deal than AAA or coupons.
Hope they are available this summer.

I don't know anyone in the government or military unfortunately, but thanks for the info - those are great prices!

We do have a Costco membership, so maybe we'll call the SD Costco when we are down there to see. Great tip.

there is a Costco near me, next time I go, I'll see if they have them!

No problem.

of course, I simply forgot to just check online! Duhhhhhh

I found this:

if you are going to go to the zoo, wap, and seaworld, it seems like a pretty good price!!

I will be going to Costco monday, so I'll check the local one and see if they have a "Seaworld only" ticket!

Thanks a lot! That 3-for-1 pass is a good deal, but we want to get lots of beach time this trip with the exception of SeaWorld. It pains me to see the Southern Cal 4-day ticket price, but I would never feel comfortable buying that and not being able to use them. Still, good price for residents.
