We have never wrapped Santa presents....just sit the toys out. That's the way it was done when I was a child. I was considering wrapping this year so that it would take longer :teeth: since they would unwrap each gift. Don't know if I might be getting myself into more than I need to with all that wrapping :goodvibes . Was just wondering what others do.

Does Santa wrap your presents?

I wish he would I get tired of doing all of the wrapping! :rotfl2:

Not usually, that's how we tell what's from Santa and what isn't. Our tree has always been in our living room which is closed off by doors, though, so the kids can't see until we all go in. This year, our tree is in our common room area which can't be hidden, so I've asked Santa to wrap thing in special paper this year. He's also been advised that he can hide some of the smaller gifts in the tree branches.

BTW, we open gifts one at a time, taking turns, no tearing through. Everyone watches the "opener" and we take the time to enjoy the things we receive. We've always done it that way, so my girls can't identify with the frenzy they see in TV shows. DH also keeps a trash bag handy and as soon as they are done admiring the gift, the wrapping goes in the bag.

Santa buys a special roll of paper (not the same that is used on any other gifts) and wraps everything he can get his hands on.

Same here, Santa has his own special(Disney, of course :goodvibes) wrapping paper. I love wrapping so I give Santa a hand  Happy Holidays :wizard:

Yes santa has special paper!! Everyone's presents are wrap in the same paper. This year it's green paper with mickey mouse!!

We also take turns opening presents. I can't wait for christmas!!

In oue house, Santa leaves some unwrapped and wraps some in special wrapping paper of course. This year I found great wrapping paper at the Dollar Tree, got Dora for dd, Scooby Doo and Spongebob for ds's, and Bugs Bunny for dh and I (dh loves Bugs). $4 total. Can't beat that.

Santa never wrapped presents when I was a kid so he doesn't do it for my DD either. We open the family presents on Christmas eve so those presents are wrapped and under the tree before then.

This is the first year that Santa has wrapped gifts. He didn't when I was small but my DD asked me last year why he didn't so this year when she visted Santa she asked for a Baby Alive and asked him to please wrap her presents... Santa listens well!

No, Santa does not have time to wrap all the presents that he brings to the children all over the world!

Santa wraps presents here, in shiny metalic wrapping paper that looks like it would be hard to crease and control when he's wrapping, but, boy it looks pretty. Only he can find it, we dont' own any of it. (why would we, it's truely a pain to use, so it looks)

He also wraps everything that goes into stockings. He did that for DH growing up, and even though he didn't do it for me growing up, he does it for my boys.

We also take turns opening gifts. But, santas gifts are to EVERYONE, and don't even get a name tag. share share share.

Santa used to wrap some things in special paper and left the bigger items unwrapped. But, Santa is getting older now, so he leaves everything unwrapped. ;)

Yes Santa does wrap EVERYTHING and from what I have heard he doesn't have a single thing wrapped yet :scared1:

You guys are too funny. This is some of the things I miss, no longer having youngsters in the house. When my kids were young, Santa did wrap everything. He just grabbed one of the kids from our youth group and paid her. She did a bang up job!

santa wraps for us too. He has his own special wrapping paper for each kid, along with special name tags.. Int he past the bigger items have been put together and set by the tree with a bow.. Not this year as I cannot fit a bounce house in my living room so it will sit in the box.. I had hopes for it to be up and running when they awoke but the weather is calling for rain and more rain...

No wrapped presents from Santa here!! (mine weren't wrapped as a kid either)

When I was little, part of my presents were wrapped and some weren't. For my cousin Santa wraps.

One of my managers had a funny story a few weeks ago. Her daughter's at that age where the tiniest slip will reveal Santa's whole "background" so my manager about had a panic attack when her daughter casually wondered out loud whether or not Santa would have the same wrapping paper as mom this year :rotfl2: She made sure her paper was different from Santa's for this year. :rotfl2:

Of course Santa wraps all the gifts that he brings to our house. Although I heard that he was really ticked this year because several of the gifts fell when they were being moved around and had to be re-wrapped. They weren't the small gifts either!!

Santa always wrapped gifts for me when I was a child and the same in DH's family. And always in special paper.

Santa wraps presents at our house. Each girl has her own special paper, that's how we know whose is whose. They are also organized under the tree youngest to oldest (youngest on the left, oldest on the right).
