Does Rose and Crown Pub still have this?

I read about this food item on a blog but I can't remember what the actually item was called but basically it was a sausage on a hot dog bun topped with mashed potatoes and cheese. The blogger indicated that it was served at the pub at Rose and Crown. Does anyone know what it is called and if Rose and Crown pub still serves it?

Thanks!

I just went over to look at the latest menu for the Rose and Crown. The mostly this one published is dated 10/10 and the English Bulldog is no longer listed on the menu!

Here's the link to the menu: Rose and Crown Menu

I expect to have lunch there tomorrow so I'll check out a few things. Things seem to be changing frequently and usually not for the better.

When I was there in April it wasn't on the menu and once gone these things don't tend to come back unfortunately

According to allears, the English Bulldog is on the menu at the Rose & Crown Pub, which is the bar. It isn't on the dining room menu so I do not know if you can order it in the dining room.

That is the restaurant menu, not the pub menu. The pub menu is separate and the English Bulldog appears only there.

I saw it on the pub menu in mid-October.

Yes, we are wanting to eat in the pub -- not the dining room.

I'm planning on having the English Bulldog sandwich again in a few weeks. It's definitely a guilty pleasure, insanely good for a decent price. Just call your cardiologist when you get home.

Ate at Rose and Crown for lunch today (restaurant) ad English Bulldog was not on the menu. Did not check the bar menu.

What a coincidence!! Your blog is where I first read about the English Bulldog! The mystery comes full circle!!! I can't wait to try it for the first time next week. My husband actually wants to cancel our Le Cellier Lunch to have the English Bulldog -- now, I think that might be a little extreme.

LOL! I haven't updated it in a LONG time. I do think the bread has been changed out for a bun since I've taken that pic, but I won't know for sure until I order it. ;)

I don't know if you'd want to cancel lunch for this, but if you had absolutely no plans at all, walk into the Pub and order it at the bar.

Dining plan is not accepted in the pub.

If you order the fish & chips from the outside kiosk you can use a CS credit. However, if you order the same thing in the pub, you can't use the dining plan.

This is a plus for those of us that don't use the dining plan. Since we are DVC members that do not get free dining, I look for places that don't take the plan or take 2 credits. :thumbsup2

I don't know..... it looks pretty yummy! Both hubby and I were on diets when we found your blog. Sometimes, we would just pull up your blog and stare and the pictures.... and drool. Ok, we need to get a life!
