Does Ripsaw Falls Close every year for referb?

SO, that's my question
We are planning another fall trip in 2011, to WDW and US/IOA
The last time we went in fall, was Nov 07 and Ripsaw Falls was closed

Since this is one of my families all time fav rides, we want to make sure we can ride. What about Oct? Is it usually opened thru Oct? Is it running now?
Any answers are truly appreciated

The water rides usually go down for refurb in Jan-Feb, usually for just a few weeks. All water rides are currently open and will be for the rest of the year.

Thanks, like I said, in 07, it was down in Early Nov and we really didn't want to take that chance again.
So Oct 2011 it will be!!
