Hi everyone!

We haven’t been since pre-Covid and before the new Genie+ & LL, we are wondering if the rider swap still exists? We have a 6yo and a 2yo. Odviously our 2yo won’t be able to do a bunch of the rides and we will need to rotate going on slinky/sdmt/etc with our 6yo.

Also, if my husband & 6yo get off a ride and I go to use the rider swap do I have to do it alone, or can my 6yo go again with me?
Thanks!

My kids are older now but didn’t I read you now have a limited time to use it? It’s not open-ended like it was before?

When we went last June, you didn’t have a time, but you could only have 1 at a time. Not sure if they added a time to it, but I wouldn’t like that because we didn’t always stay at the ride while waiting.

they must have changed it back to open ended. I remember sometime before Covid, around the time it went digital from paper, people complaining that you had to essentiallly ride back to back or it expired.

For the rider swap, does the the child not riding have to be under height or can is be just because a child is scared? My oldest won't ride anything she deems "scary", but my youngest wants to. I have a feeling we will get to the end of a line and my oldest will chicken out, could we do a swap at this time or can we not, because of her age?

It may depend on the CM at the ride. But quite often for the digital swap pass, yes the child must be too short to enter the queue. If the child is tall enough and chooses not to ride, the CM may have you do the swap at/near boarding -- part of the group rides while someone waits with the child near the exit, then swap.
