Does Rainforest Cafe In Dtd Take Disney$

I was wondering if I could use disney dollars at the rainforest cafe. Anyone know?

I would really doubt it. RFC is not a disney owned eatery and thus, would not honor D$. AP holders do get a discount, or at least we did last year on both the food and gift shop items.

Don't worry--you should have NO trouble spending all of your D$ throughout WDW unless you have a majorly high balance. If that is the case, don't go to RFC, go to another WDW cafe instead.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'd call and ask. I know for an absolute fact that you can charge meals to you KTTW card, so maybe - ya never know.

If you call and find out, please let us know. I would guess that they don't take DD, they are owned by a separate company. I know some of the stores in DTD don't take DD for the same reason.

Yes they do accept DD$.
(at least they did last October)

Almost all shops in DTD take the Disney $$. I was quite surprised, but happily so, when my 2 sons decided to "blow their whole wad of cash" at the Lego store. Since they were very insistent that they wanted to spend their $ their, I asked sheepishly if they took them she said "absolutely, almost all shops will accept them. If they don't, go to any Disney retailer and you can exchange them for cash." Hope that helps! My kids have to earn their Disney $ in the months before the trip, they have a combined total of $147.00 and we still have 10 weeks to go! yipee
