Does rain cause Fireworks to be cancelled?

Hi everyone, so excited for our trip coming up! Looks like it is supposed to rain a day (or two) while we are at Disneyland. Does rain in and of itself cause them to cancel fireworks? Or does it need to be rain and wind? I know for sure wind will, but wasn't sure if rain was also a factor. I mean there is a chance it wont rain during the fireworks time so maybe they play it by ear? Appreciate your time and attention!

I have seen fireworks go off even with fairly heavy rain, but not a "torrential downpour". In one case, the rain was heavy enough the street between the hub and castle was nearly empty 15 minutes before fireworks went off as scheduled.
