Does race, ethnicity, etc. matter

Merry Poppins.. your first post was truly eloquent. I wish more people would have grown up in a family like yours. Experiencing people of different races and cultures opens one's mind and often one's heart. That is jmho.

I guess in answer to the original question, it doesn't matter. BUT that doesn't mean it is intended in a negative way if it is mentioned.
