Does POFQ have non-carb drinks?

I am hoping someone can tell me if the pop counter has non-carb drinks like tea or lemonaid. My son can not have anything carbonated. The only way a mug would be worth the money is if he can get non carb drinks. We have stayed at POFQ before but can't remember what they have.

IIRC they had diet lemonaid, iced tea, water, hot water for making hot tea, and hot chocolate all available at the refill station at the POFQ food court. This was as of this past May.

I took this photo of the beverage area during our stay this past April/May. Hope this helps.

Excellent picture. I wish they had juice though- I want the mug for myself but am not a big soda drinker.

I get the fruit punch a lot while I'm there. It's not juice, but it's not carbonated.

mousemom, we bought refillable mugs last year and it was not worth it for me. i can not have juice or lemonade or soda, and that nescafe coffee was unmentionable. 1 day i had a cup of tea. i will not be buying the mugs again. I have those individual koolaid/ ice tea packets and use those in water bottles. it was great for DH, but i cannot see payng 11.99 for that mug again.....
(just my experience)

Thanks Tink's Pixieduster it really helped to see the pictures. What a great idea to take a picture of the beverages.

You're welcome. DISers have asked about this in the past, and its difficult to remember exactly what drinks are at the beverage area, so photos seemed like a good idea. I'm going to try to remember to take photos of the food court menus and prices when I return in 54 days (not that I'm excited or counting the days ;) )

Somewhere the menu picks are out there. We are staying at POR for the first time this sept, I saw them from a link on these boards. Maybe someone else will remember?

Hi yankeepenny,
I'm hoping you (or anyone else!) can comment on the coffee situation.

I'm a big coffee drinker, some call me a coffee snob. My prefered "brand" is Starbucks: I buy their beans and grind my own at home. Though, I will drink other "donut shop" coffee without too many complaints. I cannot, though, handle the abomination that is instant coffee.

What is this Nescafe stuff they serve? I'm concerned how you term it "unmentionable."

Here's my tip of the day - buy some 4-cup coffee filters and bring your own coffee with you to brew in the room! We bought refillable mugs last time and used them for juice and soda, and each time we went to the food court we would bring back creamer and sweetener for the coffee. We brewed our own coffee in the room and it was thousands of times better than the yucky stuff at the food court!:thumbsup2

Thanks, but I actually remember pretty well whats on the POFQ menu and what the prices are at the food court. I just want to take photos of the menu boards and prices, as well as other photos of the food court and around the resort (can you tell I love POFQ?). My DSis and I will be returning to POFQ, also in Sept. I've also stayed at POR and have taken many photos of that resort as well. Hope you have a great time there!
