Does Pixie Dust Help with Decision-Making? A 2012 PTR! NEW! 6/30 pg.85

Hey Jackie...how exciting that your ADRs are booked. All of them look great!;)

Before you leave, you should hop on over to restaurants.com They have a BlueZoo two for one coupon there that you can buy. I got mine for $2. ;)

Love O'Hanas...you will have a blast there, especially if you have 3 meat eaters! :goodvibes

And as for Via Napoli, all I can say is GREAT choice!:thumbsup2 We all LOVED it there! Let me just say that it is now up on the list of things that I can count on to get Chris back to the World!

I highly recommend the articoke, mozarella and truffle oil pizza there. FAB*U*LOUS!!! :worship:

I am going to put that in the trip plans...

"Table in the piazza. Kids do Kim Possible." :thumbsup2

Perfect!

I just read it -- I loved that you booked three more cruises.

You and me both! I need to clean and do laundry today, but here I sit. :sad2:

I LOVE your trip binder! That is adorable!

'Ohana looks soooo good and I would seriously LOVE to try that, but my brother and my dad are both allergic to shrimp. My brother wasn't allergic when he was tested for allergies, but ate one or two a couple years ago and broke out in hives :scared1: so he just avoids anything that has shrimp in it. My dad is like Epi pen allergic, so 'Ohana is a place we're just gonna avoid. Unfortunately, if I ever get Charles to Disney World, he would never go there just because he hates any kind of seafood or steak...I think the sight of peel and eat shrimp would completely undo him. :lmao:

Those ADR's sound good! Via Napoli is now one of my new favourites after trying it on this last trip!:thumbsup2 I was soooooo full, but I ate my whole meal! My cousin took her kids to T-Rex in December and they loved it! Also, I love your binder!! So cute!

Oh, no! That's too bad that your dad is allergic to shrimp! Such a shame. :(

Had to laugh about Charles coming undone at the sight of peel and eat shrimp. Connor doesn't like the look of it, either.

Thanks, Stacy! I am looking forward to all of our meals!

Jackie, great ADR choices!
We loved T-Rex Cafe. The theming is incredible. My nephews got slushies in these large bones. It was cute.

Your planning binder is adorable! How do you break up your sections? I need to make a planning binder, but haven't had the time. I wish I could just pay someone to do it. :rotfl:

Did they get to keep the bones or no? That's the sort of thing Chelsea and Connor would get a kick out of.

I have packing lists, reservation information, directions there, resort info, park info, and dining info. Oh, and a misc. section. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much.

I had to make a reservation for Ohana today based on your PTR.

I love having a reason to play with dining reservations!

I wouldn't think you would need directions there after all these trips!!!

We have done 'Ohana twice and loved it both times! Your family will love it.

I am really loving all of this O'Hana talk! We had such a good meal there this past trip and MeMom and I did talk about the need to take those leftovers back to the room with us! SO MUCH GOOD FOOD!!!

So tell me, where can I find a Tokyo Sunset? The saki bar? I'm guessing Japan and I have no idea where the place is but I'm going to find it in March and try it out, just for you!

Those leftovers make a good case for having a room with a fridge. Unfortunately, we did not have one. :sad1: It's sinful how much food was thrown away. :sad2:

I agree that they should bring you half the food and you can always get more. There is no way you can ever finish all that food.

Tokyo Sunset was at Food and Wine but you can get one at Teppan Edo. YUM.

Yes, they got to keep the bones. I'm going to post T-Rex photos on FB.

Danielle still has her "bone" in her room. I do believe she will be getting another one next month.

Hi! I found your PTR and have had so much fun catching up on all your trip plans. We, too, took a year off from Disney, but just like you, we have a trip planned again!

Your trip binder is the cutest---made me wish I was going on the fourth so I could use that catchy title! :cutie:

We've stayed at POR several times, and I agree that the new rooms do look pretty nice.

It seems as if you've got your dining taken care of---I didn't see, or may have missed it, but are you using the dining plan this trip? BTW, we love, love 'Ohana--the bread pudding is the best thing! :thumbsup2

I love reasons to play with dining reservations, too. ::yes::

They are like a security blanket at this point. I really don't need them, but I would hate to suddenly wish I had them.

We have done 'Ohana twice and loved it both times! Your family will love it.

We are very excited about it!

Can't wait to experience all that good food with a fun bunch of people! :thumbsup2

I have had them at Teppan Edo before, but apparently they are also at the new sake stand in Japan.

We will have a fridge, so maybe I will have to take some back to the room. ;)

I have a feeling they will have to roll us out of there.

Yes, please! Did you get a chance to do that? It's been such a crazy, busy week that I have hardly been on the computer at all.

Danielle still has her "bone" in her room. I do believe she will be getting another one next month.

The kids will be sure to want to take theirs home.

Welcome!!! Isn't it exciting to have another trip to plan?

I can't wait to see them in person!

We are not using the dining plan this trip -- it just isn't as cost-effective anymore since both kids are over 10.

Hi, Everyone!

I have been a lousy DISer lately -- silly real world getting in the way!

This week was C-R-A-Z-Y!

For those of you that have been following me on Facebook or on my book blog, you know that I have been recently bullied by field mice in my classroom. Tuesday, two more were found in there. I am not a fan of rodents (except for ones that are affiliated with the Walt Disney Company), so I have been a nervous wreck. Four mice in less than a week is a bit too much for me. I hope with the capture of the last two that they have moved on to other more mouse-friendly habitats.

In the midst of mouse drama, I have also been teaching, teaching, teaching.

And there has been all the work for my specialist classes. Sadly, reading about the effects of great teachers on student learning is not nearly as exciting as trip planning.

And, finally, soccer season has started for us. We had 42 girls try out for 18 spots, so Charles and I had our work cut out for us in deciding who would make the team. We are really pleased with who we chose, and we are looking forward to a great season with them. They are a very talented and sweet bunch.

So, that's what has been keeping me away from the DIS. :( Hopefully, things will settle down into a predictable schedule soon, and I can be on here more often.

In the meantime, I have to go write a paper on what I teach and why I teach it. Maybe, I can throw in a Disney quote somewhere.

LOL, I can relate to the school work. For some reason, writing IEPs is not as fun as Disney trip planning and now learning how to plan for the DARK SIDE.

But rodents in your classroom?!? YIKES!
