"Does Peter have to come to Disney with Us???"

All of your planning looks great! I am thinking about still doing DHS on saturday because I'd like to race you to TSM :rotfl: but touring plans is putting that day at a crowd level of 9 when the rest of the week is 4s and some 6s. It's putting DHS as the worse park to visit that day. Not sure why???? I don't know if something is going on that I don't know about yet???

I LOVE the pin. I absolutely loved the pin trading. I am going to be ordering some soon for the kids easter baskets. I want them to have a bunch of new ones for trading when we go back!

Ann, the plans look great! Those GAD FP's are really going to come in handy! Did you just forget to put Splash with a GAD pass? You will get 3 in the Donald group, so you should be able to use GAD FPs for Splash, BTMR, and Space!

Also, I have been told that Philharmagic rarely needs FP's and they don't even open the FP machines a lot of the time. Maybe you should use your Daisy group FP's on Jungle Cruise, Stitch (which may not need one either!) and Buzz?

Here's the list of the FP groups in case you don't have it:
# Magic Kingdom

* Donald: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain
* Daisy: Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Stitch's Great Escape!

Yeah, I need to order some off of ebay for Peter to trade, too!!! I don't know about the #9 day. Gee, I just don't see what days I can switch around and I have the GAD FP's so waiting in lines really shouldn't be an issue. OH, and btw --- you are just afraid I'll beat you!!!! :rotfl2:

Ok, I took your advice and put the GAD FP to the Jungle Cruise instead of Philharmagic and yes, I had forgotten to put the GAD FP on Splash Mtn. I was in a rush as the Supervisor asked if I was still on break....ooopsie!!! :confused3

Now that I look at it.....I have nothing planned for the day of MNSSHP or for Tuesday, the 28th. I think we will really need a down day on the 28th, but I am not sure about MNSSHP day. I have ressies for 8 day passes, but only 6 days scheduled. I think I want to add AK to the MNSSHP day. That would make sense, right everyone???? Yeah, that's what I meant to do (I think) as I haven't planned for the safari ride yet and we could hit favorites or just walk around the forest trails. Oh man.....I'm not sure....any opinions?????

Here are some random pictures I thought I'd share......

That's exactly what we're doing Ann! A relaxed AK morning the day of MNSSHP. I think it's a good plan. Of course before I decided to split my AK into two days I was going to do DTD in the morning and I'm wistful for that plan.

Your ring is beautiful! :lovestruc

I do want to race you though! I'm very competitive. :goodvibes Yeah, we just had a bad experience with DHS last May. We went and the crowds were unbearable and it was 95 degrees. We didn't even get to ride Tower of Terror. We saw very little of this park, so i'm afraid to take the chance. We'll see! Hey, at least we'll be at the same resort!! We know we'll definitely have pool time together!!!

Gorgeous ring and very cute pic of your baby and the dog!!!!

Thank you all for the kind words about my pictures.....I wish I had a really nice camera like SOME people on the Disboards....(Karen? Who?) But I like my little $50 Fuji just fine for now!

I'm still undecided on what to do on the morning of MNSSHP party. I think a nice RELAXING morning at AK should work out fine. I just want to make sure Peter catches the Disney fever for future trips....and if not, oh well....he can stay home!!! :rotfl:

I have had a ROTTEN day today so far!!! First of all Victoria missed the school bus, so I had to drive her --- making me 30minutes late for work, which is not usually a big deal with the supervisor. Then my first phone call was from an absent parent who didn't understand why paying $20 per week on his support is not whittling away a $7,000 debt more quickly!!! Ummmm, ok......do we not know how to subtract here??? Ugh! So round and round I go with him for a good 1/2 hour! I told him I would print up the excell spreadsheet (our favorite accounting tool, eh Janine???) and send it to him. Well then I get a printer service error which of course is not a local thing, so the state IT guys have to work on it and it's still not fixed. Now, I need to print these financial reports frequently, so to not have access to them is a HUGE pain!!! I'm like a sitting duck! :donald: (ok, that's the only duck icon I could find!!!!). I have about 4 cases now waiting on financial reports that I cannot do! Arrrrgggg!!! I hate not getting my work done!! OH, and did I mention that the child care reimbursement money is not coming in until my paycheck of the 24th??? C'mon people....a little good news would be nice!!! I know, I know.....at least I have that money coming in and I am still planning on going to Disney. That money is going to buy the airline tickets. I want to buy them NOW!! I don't want to wait. I did go on ebay and buy a lot of trading pins for Peter. That poor man doesn't have a clue as to what he is getting himself into!! And I still feel like poo today. My sinuses and my tummy are both acting up! I almost went home for the day at lunchtime, but decided to stick it out. I have to save up my time for Disney after all!! And my youngest cat decided to use my chest area as a spring board for her to jump off from. I have a lovely scratch mark now!!!:cat: It's just little things going wrong today, but it's all adding up and making me irritible!!! Grrrrr

My only bright spot of the day is reading about Karen's MOUSE - IFA WARS! I seriously didn't know there was a Mickey cartel! Wow! See, these Disboards are educational. I also loved looking at both Hope and Karen's pics on movie day, even though it wasn't a Disney movie!!! And Karen, I don't do wine bottles, but I just returned $7 of cans the other day. Wine I don't do, but Diet Coke --- watch out!!! :woohoo: Gee, I should have stock in Coca-Cola!! (disclaimer to my physician ---- the above statments should be disregarded! :) ) I am soooo envious that you could actually eat outside on the deck. Yeah, that's not happening quite yet here.....bummer!!! And I don't even have a deck. That's the next project after building a sunroom, a small barn, etc. Peter's going to be very, very busy, isn't he????

Ok, there's my rant, tangent....whatever you want to call it. I think I just outranted the Master on that one!!!! :worship:

Yup, I think I'm going to have to pass the ranting torch on to you Ann! I'm sorry your day isn't going well. Go check out the blog for today's post and see what I have to live next to, then you won't be so envious of my deck! I've had to put up bamboo fencing (all I can really afford right now) so that I don't have to look at my neighbors junk. They abandoned the house (but are still paying for it while living in the next town over??!? No clue why) so it's a mess.

I'm off to ramble a little myself and M.A. has given me permission to post 2 pictures! Lucky you! ;)

Thanks guys........now that I'm home, the groceries are done, and everyone is just about ready for bed, I'm better. I just hope I get a good night's sleep and wake up feeling physically well tomorrow. There's really not anything on tv tonight, so I'm back on the computer. Imagine that. Victoria is on the laptop in the bedroom, so I guess we are both computer junkies. I still should make a quick trip to the bank to put a check in the night deposit box so that it will be there first thing tomorrow morning. Yeah, I don't know. I'm pretty tired now, but it's either do it tonight or rush in the morning. Yeah, I better go. It will only take me 15 minutes to go and come back so, ok....I just talked myself into that one didn't I? Then I'll be going to bed. Goodnight everyone!!!:upsidedow

Ha, you sound like me. I know I should do things the night before for the sake of my sanity in the morning, but I still have to talk myself into doing things, I like to be lazy!

Boy are the Disboards quiet today. Must be gorgeous out where everyone is and I'm missing it. C'est la vie, I suppose.....

I've done some rearranging of my days (yeah, like that wasn't expected??:rotfl:) I will be going to Epcot on Saturday, Sep 25th instead of Thurs, Sep 30th. I may have the opportunity to go on the Illuminations cruise (yes, I will be hitching onto someone else's boat), and Pam was saying that DHS, my original plan for that day, would be at a crowd level 9. EEEK!!! :scared1: This should work out well. I put my HS day to Thrs, Sep 30th. This is not a huge change and Fantasmic is also showing on the 30th.

I received in the mail the pin I got for Peter stating #1 Dad. It's really cute! I can't wait for him to get it!! I think that will make him happy. I have also copied more (non-copyrighted) pictures off of the Disboards for my RSVP cards. The more I think about that idea, the more I like it! I did pick up some postcard computer paper last night, but have yet to test it out. Hopefully it will be pretty easy and look nice. Like Hope said, it will be like getting a little bit of Disney in my mailbox every day!! There are some beautiful pictures out there that others have taken! Thank you Disboards for being part of my wedding!!!! :thumbsup2

This evening I went to Goodwill just to see if I could find the Disney's Scene It DVD game before I ordered it off of ebay and guess what ----- I FOUND IT FOR $4.99!!!!! I really love Goodwill. I checked it all over before purchasing it and all the pieces were there --- sweet!!! It looks barely even used. I am planning on having Disney night with the family on Friday. I'm going to make some Disney activities to do, the game, and maybe the Haunted Mansion movie. I also picked up a previewed copy of Pirates of the Caribean I at (get this) a gas station for $5!!!! Life is pretty good today. :woohoo:

Hi everyone! I've been around, just been really busy but never fear......I've been reading your updates on your own ptr's! As for me, I think I'm at a standstill like everyone else now that my tour plans are done. I'm still undecided on how many days we will actually spend at SeaWorld, but the last 2 days of our trip can be whatever anyone wants to do. That's why my ADR's will be outside the parks, as we aren't sure where we will be. My next paycheck comes on the 24th (yes, lovely bi-weekly paydays---ick!) and with some of that paycheck I will be purchasing the airline tickets. :yay: We will be flying JetBlue. I just think it's amazing how Delta charges almost double what JetBlue does for the same destination! I think once I have the airline tickets purchased this trip will seem more real.

I can tell you that I am extremely frustrated with my postcard RSVP's. I have followed the instructions and still cannot get the pictures to fill the entire back of the postcards. UGH!!! I will have to call Avery and say I just can't figure it out and would they please help me. They first want you to make a table with certain size columns and rows. Ok, I can do that. Then when you drop the pictures into the row/column, it changes the size of the column. So, if you resize the picture with the picture toolbar, the picture doesn't cover the entire space of the card. Seriously, I'm not a dumb person, but I just can't seem to get it. I'm sure once I do one page of 4, I will be able to do the rest, but arrrgggggg!!!:confused3

I did purchase Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 off of ebay about one month ago. I was so jealous of all the cool things I see the Disigners do that I wanted to see if I could do it, too. It didn't come with a manual and the actual manual when you look it up online is over 600 pages!!! I don't think my workplace would appreciate me printing a 600 page manual. I did print out the chapter on layering because from what I've read on the boards, that's how most of the disigns are done. We'll see. I just never seem to have the time to just sit down and play with the computer. There's always housework or something else to do. It never ends!

I'm not sure if I'll be purchasing the Princess and the Frog when it comes out. princess: Victoria didn't express any interest in it and I'm not sure if I'll like it. Maybe I will just rent it.......I don't know. We didn't end up having our Disney night last Friday like I had planned. Victoria had a friend sleep over and she's just not that interested in the planning part of this trip. I just wish I had you guys here to keep me excited! :dance3:

Oooooh, I'm so jealous that you got Photoshop!! I bet you can find a book like Photoshop for Dummies (not that your a dummy!!) pretty cheaply and it would be easier to follow and understand than the manual anyway.

I hope you get your postcards figured out- technology can be so frustrating at times.

Yeah, i'm not good with that stuff on the computer. I have a friend that is, luckily, so I go to her for all of that.

We bought Princess and the Frog last night for Sam's birthday and we'll be watching it tonight! Can't wait.

And what is with that Victoria, you need a planning buddy! Tell her to get on the ball. Maybe when we're a little closer to our trips it will be more exciting for her to plan...... Not that they'll be any planning left to do by then, but ya know.... she may be more excited to talk about it.:goodvibes

Sorry guys.... I haven't taken the time to do any updates lately. I've had a very emotional week last week. Work was very stressful with a caseload shift which always means extra work. Victoria made me look at a really sad puppy story on you tube which I had to shut off in the middle of it. I'm such an animal lover and it is about a dog that the owners sent to the animal shelter. Well, I just lost it! I think I cried for a good hour afterwards and Victoria felt so bad. She didn't think it would affect me that much. Then on Friday I found out that a dear family friend was dying of cancer and the hospital wasn't even going to let him go home. He had gone to the hospital with flu like symptoms and they discovered the cancer only last week. I found out this morning that he died on Saturday. It really sucks because he lived in Mass and I can't go to the visiting hours or services. Actually, I may call someone to see if I can go down with them. The funeral is Tuesday morning, so that would mean if I left on Tuesday morning, it would have to be by 5am. I just don't see that happening. We'll see. Maybe I can work something out. This man who died was the only one I was really comfortable with during the time of my own father's death. He's the only one I cried in front of as I was trying to be strong for everyone else. I had been sitting with my Mom at the funeral home and he came in and I just lost it! I had "adopted" him as my own Uncle Phil when I was really little and even though I never saw him that much, I felt really close to him. He was 72.

Hey, I did finally figure out how to do my RSVP postcards!!! Of course I still haven't done them yet, though. I have sooo much to do and I really haven't felt up to doing much of anything lately. I'm just in a really "poor me" type mode lately. I need to get over it, but I'm in a funk which I just have to let it run its course. I get that way every once in a while. I barely seem to be able to go to work and come home and feed Victoria everyday. I do keep up with the laundry out of necessity, but the dusting has seen it's better days. I do have 5 cages to clean with the rabbits and guinea pig and I make sure those are done so my house doesn't stink. I have scrapbooking to catch up on and t-shirts to make, but like I've said, I just don't have the energy. I haven't been going to exercise classes either. I've been walking the dog and have been considering that my activity. You don't even want to know about my eating habits, either. Why is it that I can eat junk until it's coming out my ears, but if I try to eat healthy, I throw it up??? It just doesn't make any sense. It was a beautiful sunny 70 degree day on Saturday, but I had the sinus headache from hell, so I didn't enjoy it very much. We did end up going for a ride, but that didn't last long. Today it was cloudy and back into the normal 40's and that's where it is forecasted to stay for a while. It's also supposed to rain the next few days. Yay.....doesn't that sound wonderful, eh?

Gee, aren't you all so happy that I haven't gone to bed yet? It's 11:22pm and I really should be in bed as morning will come soon enough and I still have a lot of work on my desk to go back to. Ugh! Don't they realize I have a wedding and Disney trip to plan?

Oh, I have a new addition to the family......A tan teddy bear hamster named Gucci. Lisa, a girl at work, couldn't keep her anymore and heck, what's one more animal in my menagerie, right? She's really cute and pretty friendly. Speaking of my animals, my yellow lab in laying on the couch just looking at me thinking "why the heck are you still up?? I'd like to go to sleep now". I swear our animals know when we are sad and need them to be there. I love my big dumb doggie! I guess I've just had a lot to say tonight and a lot I needed to share. Hopefully I haven't lost you all for good. Hey Karen, the evening news just said Alice in Wonderland was #1 in the theaters again this week. Very cool.

Ok, it's now 11:30pm and I really need to go take my insulin and get my butt into bed. Goodnight everyone. Thanks for listening!

I was wondering where you'd been Ann! I'm so sorry that you're having a rough time and especially about your friend. Hang in there.
