Does Paradise Pier open when the park does?

I am SO sorry if this is a really stupid question but I swear I read somewhere that it opens an hour after the rest of the park. Now I cannot find this, so I'm thinking possibly I'm crazy or I have just read way too much info and my mind is starting to mesh it all together

I'm trying to come up with a FP plan for our ONLY DCA day.

I think that's a great question! Everything in DCA is so up in the air right now, you never know!
Last time I was there, California Adventure was still "unofficially" opening a half hour early, but all that was open were the WOC FP machines and Soarin' FP. But it gave you plenty of time to walk back to the bridge to PP, where a cast member was waiting to do rope drop. You had to wait until officially opening time (at that time 10) for rope drop and to run to TSM. So I don't know if that is still the case or not. It certainly wouldn't hurt to show up extra early in case you can get those FPs, it makes the morning much less stressful!
