Does Ohana have chicken instead of turkey now?

I thought I read on here that they switched to chicken instead of turkey? But the menus still list the turkey. Not too big of a deal, though DH was thrilled when I told him they switched to chicken.

We ate there last Monday evening...no turkey, & yes, there was chicken.

We eat there every trip and I don't recall them ever having turkey. Hmmmm..

There was definitely turkey offered in February. My husband is NOT a fan of turkey (let's just say he has nightmares of his mom's Thanksgiving turkey).. That changed when he tried the turkey at 'Ohana. That night I saw him eat more turkey than any other meat offered during the meal. I recently told him that removed the turkey from the menu and he actually seemed upset about it. Poor guy. :sad2:

I was there in early May and there was no chicken - it was turkey. I don't normally like turkey at all, I normally love steak. I have to say the turkey was my favorite meat at 'Ohana's.

If you mean the online menus on unofficial sites, they may not have new menus yet.

Chicken in June. But, I was so crazy about the shrimp, noodles, and wings I don't know I noticed much else. :D

Its kind of hard to differentiate the two, when i was there it was "turkey" and didnt realize it until i read that is what it was. It really tastes very similar

I never could tell the difference to me as long as its not over cooked its ALL good! LOL!

It was always turkey before. My son gets hives when he eats turkey so I knew to make sure he didn't eat any at 'Ohana. On our 2007 trip the girl with the turkey skewer came to our table and asked the kids if they wanted chicken. I was like oh wow ok great..it was supposed to be turkey. She said.."Oh yeah, it's turkey...I just tell the kids it's chicken so they'll eat it". So I wonder if they are still pulling the old..tell 'em it's chicken when it's actually turkey? :confused3

For those that have been recently- is this right? Right now they have shrimp, steak, and chicken? What about the sides? Noodles, wings, dumplings, what else? 'Ohanas seems to tweak their menu from time to time. It is one of our favorites and we eat there in a few months.

My husband and I ate there on Sunday the 18th and we were served Chicken. It was Delish!!! Our first time dining there and def. not our last! :yay:

We had dinner there on July 12. Yes....shrimp, steak, chicken, noodles (YUM!), wings, dumplings, & a fantastic green salad of some sort.

Note: We were on the dining plan and you are served a FANTASTIC dessert, family style. It was only served with one scoop of vanilla ice cream for the FOUR of us....not enoughfor us. We asked for more but of course it took awhile to get it, & then we were only brought one more scoop of ice cream. Next time, when we order dessert, we will ask for a scoop for each of us...the ice cream goes SO WELL with the bread pudding dessert we had.

That was what they had in June plus broccoli.

Awww I loved the turkey, is the chicken mesquite also? We're going in Sept and this was everyones favorite meal last year. We ate so much no one was hungry until dinnertime the next day.

We had turkey in Sept 09 and Chicken (really great chicken) in May 10.

I don't really like meat except chicken so I didn't love the meal in Sept. I liked the noodles, salad and dessert. It was far from a favorite though.

In May, chicken was FAB. It was one of my favorite meals of the trip. I booked it again for Dec 10. I hope they keep the chicken.

The turkey was always my least favorite of the meats, so I'm glad for the change.
