Does my 1 year old need to be on the ressie?

After reading all of the "too many for one room" thing, I just wanted to make sure that what I am doing is "legal".

We are staying at BC concierge in three weeks...my family is me, dh, dd5, ds4 and ds1. This is the first time we will be a party of 5. We have booked one room and will have a crib for the baby. Is this okay to do? I told them when I booked that we are a party of 5, but all of the reservations and ME stuff don't mention him anywhere, although my ressie confirmation does say "crib". He is also not on the DDP, but I think that is b/c he would be free anyway?

Is this okay? Do the standard BC rooms allow 5 or is there an age where we will have to split up?

I just want to make sure that when we get there they won't have a problem with him being on the vans, room or in the parks.

thanks for you help! :goodvibes

I know from what I've read (this my first trip!) most resort rooms are limited to 4 people PLUS 1 small child in a crib, etc. So, you will be fine. I don't know why you would need to put his name on the ressies (it's not like he needs his own key or anything!) but I don't think it would hurt at all...

When we have traveled with kids under three, our reservations have not listed them. When DD7 was under three, our ressies just said two adults. When DD3 was under three, it said two adults, one child (for DD7). Next time, we will all be represented! :thumbsup2

No worries - since your little one doesn't need a ticket and wouldn't be on the dining plan, you are good to go! Have fun!

BTW, standard rooms at Beach Club sleep five (over three), so you would be fine there anyway!

My ds1 is just on the DME ressie. I put in that I had two kids and their ages, and the only one who showed up on our resort and ticket ressie was my dd3.

Thanks, everyone for the info. I just wanted to double check...it just looks so strange that he is "invisible" from all the paperwork. :joker:

Glad that everyone is a-ok...now I have to start packing
