Does MVMCP happen on Thursdays?

Hi all, I am planning out our Dec. trip.

My only otions for MVMCP are Thursday (preferable,as that was our MK day anyway) Friday and Saturday.

I know it happens on Friday and Saturday but am getting conflicting responses about Thursday.

Does anyone know?

If last year is any indication, they usually have the parties every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights the first three weeks in December. I don't see any reason that they would change that pattern. The main thing that's not known is exactly what date the parties will start; most likely on Nov. 28. The dates should be announced sometime in April, with ticket sales beginning by May 1.

Thanks. I really hope they have one on Dec 2. We only have 4 days in WDW this trip and would rather not have to park hop a lot if we can help it.

Do you know when they put out the schedule?

Is it wise to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale?

We bought them right away when we found out they were on sale. I have heard of some nights selling out!

Nights don't start selling out until late October or November and then usually only Fridays. The last Friday usually sells out first. We have gone on Sunday or Tuesday and have always waited until we got there to buy tickets, it's never been a problem. You get the advance price as long as you buy them before the date of the party. If you do buy them when they first go on sale, be sure of your dates because they are non-refundable.

We will be arriving on Sunday the 19th and hope MVMCP is happening on this date. How are tickets purchased and is it important to get them the first day they go on sale? Thanks!

You just call the main Disney number; the same as when you want to book a resort. Or you can buy them online or at GS when you get down there.

You do not have to buy them right away. They do not sell out that fast. Usually only Fridays sell out and only as it gets closer.
