My grandparents are DVC members and want to stay in the same room they stayed in last time they were at Vero Beach. But, they do not remember the room number. If they call MS will they be able to tell them the room number?
Thanks,
Christy

MS does not know what room you stayed in, they don't keep track of that. However, the resort probably does, I know OKW can tell me every room I have ever stayed in.

Did you keep your "folio" from your stay at the resort? That will have your room number on it.

Member Services CAN look up the room number that you stayed in last time. I am 100% certain that the system does allow this. There may be advisors that do not know how to look it up though. Just ask. If the person you get doesn't know how to find it, you can ask them to ask another advisor.

I could be wrong, but I also think they CAN tell you. It seems their computer system keeps track of everything. I hope they can assist you.

I will let my grandparents know! Staying with them is what made me want to join. Now if I can just get my finances in order, we will be members (should be this year!)

Thanks,
Christy

That is odd, MS told me they don't keep track but, the resort does.
Go figure.

I had an OKW Front Desk CM tell me once that they know which rooms/buildings we have stayed in on previous visits.

Expecting to check into a specific room number almost guarantees disappointment.

First, someone has to be checking out of that room on the same morning that you (or, in this case, your grandparents) are checking in. If it was assigned three days earlier to a family that's staying for a week, the specific room will be unavailable.

If, by coincidence, the room will become available on your check-in day, it may already be assigned to someone else whose requests were handled before yours. Again the specific room will be unavailable.

Then, all the room assigner can do is guess at why you asked for that room number. Was it the floor? The view? The proximity to parking? The distance from the pool?

Regardless of which DVC resort you're staying at, you're better off requesting the general location, view, or floor that's important to you, not the room number.
