Does MK & EPCOT rent power electric wheelchairs?

Grandpa has been having trouble walking and we are thinking of renting either a wheelchair or ECV at the parks. Do the regular wheelchairs at the parks have electric power? Grandpa won't be able to roll himself around in an old fashioned wheelchair, and we won't be able to push him. We need something with a motor- are the EVC's the only option? I know the EVC's are electric but I heard that they can rent out quickly....
(Grandpa should be ok sitting & waiting for the bus, so it would be easier for all of us if we could just rent at the parks)

ECVs are the only power option at the parks. There ate limited numbers and they may be all rented out if you arrive after 10 or 10:30 am.

The wheelchairs for rent at the parks are manual (push) wheelchairs.
Because power wheelchairs take more practice to drive, most of the offsite rental companies will only rent them to people who ate experienced using one, such as someone who uses one at home, but chooses not to travel with it.

In May 2007, we got to MK late in the afternoon one day just to have dinner at CP & the ECVs were all gone. It was tough for my 70yo FIL just to make it to LTT.

After we were seated, we got a message (phone or text, I can't recall) that an ECV became available, so I left the table & sprinted on down to get the ECV.
