Does Mission: Space orange make you ill?

No. It doesn't feel like anything to me at all.

I was sick the first time I rode it. The second time I felt fine!

only done the orange 1x and I was sick half the day. But I also closed my eyes even though I knew better. Once I did that all I could feel was the spinning and was trying to regain my center for the rest of the ride. The pressure didn't bother me just the spinning. I did the green version after that and it was fine, just not exciting like the orange so I've never gone on it again.

I rode the orange side twice in the same day. Everyone in our group was fine. I didn't even feel the first bit dizzy when getting off like you do on the Tea Cups. DW who will absolutely not ride the Tea Cups loved the orange side.

From what I am reading here is seems to be truly hit or miss. I say go for it but not right after lunch.

Since over a third of people said it made them sick, maybe we should skip this one. There are three of us and I wouldn't want anyone to be sick for part of our trip. I don't get motion sickness but DW or DD might.

What a GREAT simulator ride!!!
Loved it!

Rode it three ties on the last trip, arguing over who would get to be the captain. I ended up being navigator.

The G forces were not bad at all, just like going on a loop in a roller coaster. I didn't feel sick at all and enjoyed the ride.

I love this ride ... DH, not so much. Last time we were at Epcot, we had a friend meet us there and she and I rode it while DH waited on a bench. Next time we go, it will just be DH and I so I doubt I'll ride it (unless the wait is non-existent). My parents will not try the orange side after hearing about the motion sickness warnings.

If I love TOT. and roller coasters in general (but occasionally have to close my eyes to keep from getting sick when going 'around corners'), and have been on the green side and thought it to be extremely dull, have survived the toughest roller coasters my husband and I could design in the simulater at Disney Quest, what do you think? Could I survive the Orange side? I've been afraid to try! I want to sooooo badly, but I don't want to be green all day...
