We arrive at MCO at 10:30 PM. Will they still have ME running at that time? If so, do you think that there will be much of a wait to board the bus that time of night? Do many families travel in the evening???

Thanks!

They're supposed to run until 11pm, but ME will also provide transportation for flights arriving after that on an as-needed basis. I'll be arriving at 10:05pm on May 19 and will post the following week about our experience.

From Disney's Magical Express FAQ (for meeting attendees):
Q: What are the hours of operation for the Disney Welcome Center at the airport?

A: The hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., but those hours will be extended to meet the flights of all guests who have booked Disney's Magical Express, even if a flight is scheduled to arrive after 11 p.m. The Welcome Center will also closely follow arrival information for flights that may be delayed.

ME will run until the last flight with a ME guest lands. ME is new, we don't know if Disney will wait for late flights to land, send buses out almost empty or combine routes.

There are a fair number of flights that land between 10:00 and 11:00p but I'm not sure how many of those pax are staying in an airport hotel the first night.

came to oia yesterday. took about 2 hrs to get on ME and took us about 3 hrs to get to akl. Good luck if you are thinking to take it @ 1030p. I'm done with them, I'd rather pay $45 to go back without stopping 7 to 10 times to pick and drop off pax. The ME express I was on had terrible kids who never stopped crying until they got dropped off.

Once again... a poster registers from no where to post his horrid experience. :rotfl:

(And have you noticed that several of these posters seem to hahve keyboards with limited capital keys)

Sorry, maybe you are for real, but I am am ONLY listening to experienced posters for the time being. I posted a link to a guy on the DVC Board who had a so/so experience so it's not like I am only promoting pro-Disney.

Also what is with the 7 to 10 stops?? Chip has posted several times that the max number of stops is 4.

You beat me to posting the same thing! How stupid do some of these *trolls* think we are? In theory, these newbies are posting from their rooms at WDW the first or second day of their trips. Now I can see some of us die-hard DISers taking time away from Mickey to post to the folks back "home" on the boards, but I find it highly suspect that people who are posting for only their first or second time *ever* are suddenly getting the urge to do so while on vacation.

You know, if I took a towncar with my family, I might STILL have crying kids (my own) on board. I don't think any ME competitors can guarantee happy children, but if they can, sign me up!

Also what is with the 7 to 10 stops?? Chip has posted several times that the max number of stops is 4. almost sounds like he was on a regular mears bus and not ME.

It sounds like he is a troll and was not on ANY bus. LOL!

max441,
Didn't you post before on this board (I guess your 1st post) about giving your name to some towncar company? Went and looked it up the Co was Orlandotrasport?????

Don't feed the TROLLs!!!

I guess if I was in the Orlando airport towncar business I would be feeling pretty desperate about now too....but this is sinking very low!!!

the towncar people are always lurking on this board - I have had plenty of trolls "sell" me their stories. I agree with the others. Only believe the experienced disers.

By the way, I arrived on 4/29 and saw many ME buses out and about at MCO and driving around the roadways in WDW and was a little disappointed I wasn't made aware of it as I could have utilized them. Once I got to the Poly I found out they were running all week so really 5/5 was not the first official day it was like 10 days before that. Did not speak with anyone that used it though. I left on 5/4

Tracie,

Great detective work!

Hygienejean -
I had that very same question when we decided to come in on a Friday night instead of a Saturday morning. On one of the other ME threads I found out that the Welcome Center is open from 6 AM - 11 PM but the buses will run ANYTIME a family comes in. That's probably why we are supposed to make a reservation at least 10 days prior.
