We usually set at the San Angel Inn and I get the Tostadas de Tinga (chicken). This trip, we just wanted to hang out in La Cava instead of eating at the Inn but I read in a recent dining review that La Cava is no longer serving the tostadas...say it ain't so! Has anyone been recently and seen them on the menu?

A friend has let me know that last night, crab tostadas were back on the menu. She didn't say anything about chicken.

On the menu printed up just this past week, there are no chicken tostados, just the crab tostados. No beef flautas either. :( Did see shrimp ceviche, 3 dips of 2 salsas and guacamole. I seem to remember a queso fundido dish also.

That's all well and good for some, but I'm allergic to shrimp and as a result I eat no seafood(except fish) because I don't really want to find out the hard way what will make me sick. I'm not exactly thrilled about eating dip with my margarita.

Get some tacos from the Cantina and bring them in with you.

Where is the menu? I cant find it on allears. Is it located close to San Angel Inn?

We were in La Cava yesterday, that is where I saw the menu. I didn't take a photo of it, sorry.

La Cava del Tequila itself is located in the Mexico Pavilion, on the right side before San Angel Inn, if that is your question.

The problem with crab is that sometimes you get "Krab," which is just random seafood product made to taste like real crab. My brother is allergic to fish but can't eat crab because you never know what you're going to get.
