Does it seem like it is ALWAYS something

Today I was planning to get back on track, exercise and go grocery shopping for my healthy eating.

Too bad I had to spend all morning the in ER with DS#2. He was up all night with croup, but then this morning he could not seem to catch his breath. They got us right in to the ER, but once they treated him they had to keep him for 2 hours to monitor his progress. Right now he is sleeping so peacefully and is fine. But, it just delayed my start one more day. I need to just get going, no more tomorrows!

Christy-I hope your DS is better and glad to hear that he is resting better. Yes, I think there seems to always be something when you are trying to get into a routine. Now your something was much more important than most of my "something's". You will do it and get back into it. Keep up your spirits and I'm sending PD your way.

Oh my! It is difficult to get things done with the wee ones needing care for sure. I am glad that he is ok and sleeping. I know you must have been quite stressed.

I am hoping that you will be able to get some movement in to allow for some of that needed destressing.

Oh Christy, I am sorry to hear about your ds. I hope he is feeling much better today! Start the exercising part now and get to the grocery store as soon as you can. It will all fall into place soon. ::yes::

So glad your son is okay! When stuff like this happens, I try to view it as practice in handling stress :D . Life happens, and we all have to learn how to deal with stressful situations without resorting to food (if you're a comfort eater, that is). Anyway, hope your son continues getting better and that you get on track soon.

YES...I'm convinced that children and viruses have a sixth sense about these kinds of things. ;)

Glad to hear he's getting better! :flower1:

Glad to hear he is doing better.

Perhaps rethink that restart...could be nature's evil way of saying you planned too much!

We were in the dr's office this a.m. with DD2. Evidently after her flu--she is constipated. Her poor belly swollen all weekened. We were advised to use glycerin suppositories...of which she thought it humourous to reject it a few times. But once in--it worked like a charm...and boy does her tummy look better. No interfering with my exercise--since I'm not supposed to restart until next week :)

Christy,
Sorry to hear that your son was sick. I'm so glad he is feeling better and able to sleep!! Your boys are so sweet!! Glad I got to meet you last weekend!!

Hi Christy! So sorry that your sweet DS had to go through that (and Mom too ;) ). Glad that all is well. Don't stress too much about "life" getting in the way. You were supposed to rest for at least a week anyway ... so don't worry about an extra day or so :) I found myself violently ill last night with some sort of a stomach bug. Go figure ... the first time in my life that I've ever been excited to go back to work after vacation ... I'm sick  And I had my "I DID IT" shirt and medal all ready to put on this morning!

It was so awesome to get to meet you and your wonderful family last weekend. Take care of yourself!
