Resort Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Here at RPC! I flew from the West Coast so barely made it for apps, things were a little picked over but looked fresh. New (to me since Nov) items included a ramekin turkey “pot pie” (filling with a puff pastry top” and a large dish of tortellini pesto alfredo. The former was good, if a little salty. The latter was maybe intended to absorb guests eating dinner in the lounge? It was good but nothing deluxe. Charcuterie was a little slim, but tough to tell if that’s because it had been razed earlier. I didn’t take pics because I was trying to get notes and snacks before it was cleared. More to come!

GM from Grand Floridian! This trip is centered around MK and Epcot After Hours events, so my only goal in the mornings is to ride Guardians and snack at FGF. Grabbed my line wine for breakfast and walked to TTC to go to Epcot. Breakfast pics below don’t include the cold cuts/cheese/salmon/breads, but they were there, as always. Sorry for the shaky pics, I always get a little embarassed taking these when I’m solo.

I leave tomorrow for GF/RPC, yay! Will be a lot of working from my room/the lounge this trip. Checked rooms one last time yesterday and bam, last minute BB stuff was available - I managed to change my deluxe king room to a resort view and saved over $200. At least I know I’m bring as cheap as possible while splurging. I’ll try to take pics, especially if there’s new items!
Your last minute room finds are giving me hope! We booked our trip a long time ago (two rooms in RPC, one deluxe and one regular) but we changed our dates up a bit and ended up with a bunch of separate reservations and still haven’t been able to find a regular room for my daughter that last night! She currently would have to move from a regular to a deluxe for the last night which won’t work with the location we are requesting (since the two bedroom suites are never available when we go 🙄). I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll get lucky like you! Have a great trip!

When I was there in February, they had a “trial” of gluten free Mickey churros waffles…so I think basically gluten free Mickey waffles but deep fried and rolled in cinnamon sugar? They were so good that even my husband liked them and he typically hates anything gluten free! I can’t have gluten so I was really excited and told the chef how much we liked them, but I’m afraid that might’ve been the only time I’ll ever get them. They were much better than the regular gluten free Mickey waffles, I’m guessing because they’re deep fried😂!

Good luck! I’ve managed it more often than not, but I do check obsessively when I can.

Can you please take some construction pics for me, please, if you have time for the GF threads? Thank you! Have fun!
Will grab a few. It’s fairly minor. It only impacts the drive in, I’m near the front of the main building and have seen/heard nothing.

Is it my imagination or did they cut down on the offerings? Just a question. At YC last year I remember at breakfast, Bread and bagels, yogurts not just one offering, croissants, banana bread. Midday snacks including wraps etc…. And hors d’oeuvers along with the hot offerings kids offerings mini dogs, chicken nuggets, etc…. Or they are there but not listed.

Those were at my YC CL stay last month FWIW.

Sadly, what’s listed is all there is. And I’ve also noticed that the servings they are putting out are now smaller. Like rather than a large platter of the marinated feta, it’s a small bowl. I’m sure it reduces the waste at the end of the evening, and that is good for sure, but optically, it makes the overall offerings look like much less.

They had bagels, cinnamon rolls, bread, some other pastries. The afternoon was lacking. Except they upped the veggies and dip. Last nite they had chicken nuggets. And at BWI they have never offered mini corn dogs, well since the reopening after covid. The cooler is stocked with the applesauce, yogurts, pbj sandwiches.
Last September at the Yacht they changed the menu to alot of seafood.

Thanks! I’ll bet most people on DIS check for rooms obsessively 😂! In my case, it’s actually my husband who checks obsessively for rooms though lol! I think it’s a bit of a mental break from his stressful job…

As you know, we’ve been YC regulars for years. We’re at Inkeepers Club @ BWI right now. We got a BB rate for BW, no discount was available at YC. Gave it another try since it gets such rave reviews. We’re underwhelmed again. We stopped in at 1:30 today hoping for some crudite to hold us over to an early dinner. The only 3 veggies were large red pepper, cucumber & carrot strips. There were several pastries from breakfast, cookies & the many packaged snacks. No house made potato chips. The staff is as nice & friendly as at any other resort. We do like that they have tomato juice at breakfast. They have POG juice all day & a freezer with ice cream treats.

The last time we were at BW CL was July 2024. When we arrived that time, I had gotten the room ready text. I stopped at the front desk to ask about an escort to CL. I was pretty abruptly told “we don’t do that here” & told to take the elevator to our room. I even commented on that during a post trip survey. I was very pleased that during a prearrival phone call last week, the CM told me to look for a CM with an iPad on arrival to be escorted up to CL. The CM in the lobby happily got us an escort. Much better than our previous visit. We’re finding it OK. But I really don’t think there’s anything worth the cost here for us.

Same here for years YC was our go on the Epcot side, but was disappointed in the offerings since reopening after covid. Sounds like YC is stepping up a bit and BWI is declining. Since covid BWI has been our go to especially since they stopped cooking in the lounge. I hated the cooking smells so we rarely stayed there during that time. Until our December trip we liked the food offerings a lot better than YC. Sorry to hear it hasn't improved since December. We are staying there in early May after RPC. I would normally do RPC last but it didn't work out with the BB. I do love the cottages and doodle muffins though so we'll make do with whatever. 🙂 I haven't seen the YC available with a BB or I would try it again.

I think part of my problem is we’ve had an RPC stay the last few years too. Everything pales in comparison. I’ve seen YC CL on discounts a few times, but not BB. We have a regular room with a BB in October. Which is fine, I keep saying we don’t need CL every trip.
