Does it matter if we say PS & not ADR?

Ever since I have joined this site I have learned that you now call priority seating (PS), advanced dinning reservations (ADR). Anyway since ADR is the term now does it matter if I said to a CM we would like to make a PS, because that's the word we have been saying for years & I guess we are just more use to it. So what do you all think?

I have used both terms lately, I would guess they will know what you are talking about either way if you call wdw-dine and say you want to eat at such and such resturant at such and such time. They hear many people every day who know less than we do :)

I wouldn't expect CMs to know our online abbreviations. I'd be sure to always refer to things by their actual names, if we want to be sure the CMs understand us. So instead of PS or ADR, just ask for restaurant reservations.

Yep. I don't think they'd all understand either PS or ADR. "Reservations" should do just fine--even if they aren't really reservations :) :)

Actually, I've heard you will be punished severely for using the wrong term: multiple trips on Splash Mountain with no chance to change; Haunted Mansion wearing a blindfold; making you ride Tower of Terror while trying to eat an ice cream cone; one solid hour riding nothing but Small World over and over again; and the list goes on. I would be very careful what you say to them from now on. . .;)
