Took my first trip home this month and when I walked into the rooms at BWV I had tears in my eyes. I don't know why the emotions. Maybe because this is the first main thing I did for ME since the divorce. My girls ran from room to room they were soooo excited also. We were in awe.......I absolutely loved it. Our trip to Disney have always been magical but this just topped it off!!! Thank you everyone for you help in ghte DVC portion of planning. No to figure out the windows for next year not sure how this part works yet!!!

Glad you had a great trip!

The windows are easy. Just take the date you want to check in, go back 11 months and then go forward one more day. That is if you are booking day by day. If you aren't going during a busy time, just count 11 months back from the date you intend to check out.

I took 3 DVC trips in 2005. Each time I fall in love and am thrilled to be a DVC member. When I checked into SSR I did not want to leave the room...it is so nice there.

I have already booked 2 DVC trips for 2006 and when the window is open will book one for December as well.

Now about the booking window....The new tools on DVCMEMBERS.CCOM will tell you the booking window.

Go to the My DVC section of the website. It will tell you where you are in booking land!

Hi, Missymagic - another divorced mom with two daughters here - how old are yours? Mine are 12 and 17, and we just love our trips to WDW. We also own at HH, and that is fast becoming a family favorite as well. I am looking forward to enjoying many more trips in the future!!!

Everyone here is so supportive I LOVE IT!!!! Sometimes you feel like you are all alone. My dds are 5 and 8. I will definitely check out the MyDVC tools. Since I just became a memeber in Oct and I believe my year is March it will be time to book again with something to look forward to!!!

Some of you gave been to HH. Is that a place to go anytime of the year or are their specific months that are better???? I belive it get a little chilly this time of year.

Any advice for other warm destinations for a long weekend getaway for mom???
