Sometimes, in the middle of the hot afternoon, it will just hit me that RIGHT NOW, 1500 miles away in Florida, there is a parade going on. And balloon vendors walking around with bouquets of balloons afloat overhead. And the smell of freshly popped, hot popcorn. And music, and dancing, and fun, and frolic. Right now, there is someone riding Dumbo for the very first time. Right now, there is someone SEEING THE CASTLE for the very first time, and having their picture taken in front of it. All of this stuff, that goes on in WDW EVERY DAY, every EVENING....parades, shows, rides....it's going on even as I sit in hot, humid, Missouri. And that little thought comforts me, somehow. I'm not envious of them; I know that it will all be there for me when I get to go back home to the Mouse's House. And it makes me smile.

and the lucky ones who will be here when I am gone.
