Does it bother you?

Its a woman thing! :rotfl2:
Really woman worry about things like this way more than guys do. Sure I care what people think of me, like my wife and family, but other than that I am who I am. Take it or leave it. Be happy with yourself or it wont matter what other people think of ya. :thumbsup2

The older I get, the less I give a damn what others think of me. :upsidedow

Me too, the only people's opinions that matter to me are my hubby's and my girls, and I do try hard not to embarrass them (though once the alcohol kicks in then I'm a loose cannon :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

Life's too short to worry about what others 'may' think of me - like others have said 'What you see is what you get' - and it's a complete Nutter !!!

Mandy :)

I do, I am a very shy person and I worry this can come of that I am being rude and I say very little when around other people.

I do worry about what some people think of me, as much as i try not to i just cant help it!

Like today at work my collegue said to me, "ive got a voucher for 30% off at threshers - you drink a lot would you like it?"

She probably didnt mean it that way (although she can be *****y so im not sure) but i spent all day thinking my work collegues think im an alcoholic ....so i came home and had a glass of wine to forget about it LOL

Very, very much so and i think it's got worse as i've got into my 20's. I'm 24 and i tend to judge myself on how others judge me and ask for reasurrance alot from people i work with and family. It does bother me that i think like that, but i really can't help it. I find it hard to figure sometimes if people are joking or being serious to me, my friends say i take things wayyyy to personally! Like i've just been shopping with my mate and she said 'oh emily, you do flit don't you', now i know i flit in shops when looking at things, but i took it in a very critical way, luckily she said 'please dont worry about what i said' so i'm hoping i will grow out of it!!

Oh Laura that is funny :rotfl2:, I think I may be like you I tend to read to much in to what others say, when they probably don't mean any harm. On the other hand like Mandy if I am out to enjoy myself, I couldn't care less. I think my current insecurities come from my workplace I don't remember being so paranoid about things before I started there.

I'm with you! :thumbsup2

As long as my family (DH and my kids) love, respect and understand me, I'm queen of my castle! Plus I'm happy to hear anything my close friends that "get" me have to say - a little lively debate is enjoyable and we can always agree to disagree...

Apart from that, other people's opinions are irrelevent to me - they're entitled to 'em but I don't have to listen/care/pay attention... ;)

Absolutely not. The only opinions that matter to me are DH, DS and DD. I'm interested in what other people have to say but if what they say is different to me I really don't worry. Life's too short

:lmao:

I don't care what other people think. I wouldn't wear crocs to work every day if I was bothered. I know how awful they look with my work clothes because my collegues keep telling me!!!

Sometimes it does and other times it doesnt. I think it really depends on what the issue was about. I can let certain things go over my head, but there are certain issues that I certainly wont. I think I am 50/50. I do try to let most things go over my head. Especially when they do not know the in's and out's of everything.
