Does having an AP prevent you from getting pins?

I have an AP - and only two pins I've ever received are pins for AP holders. Have never received any other pins with the 4 emails I have registered, not email, not in the mail.
I've gone and saved vacations, filled out the survey, updated my information. Nope. Nada. Nothing.
So am wondering if others with APs receive pin codes?

I soooo wanted that % off resorts that went through the whole year. And even the various new ones that came out - nope, received none of them.

No. I have a AP as well and just received my second pin code in the last 6 months.....

Having an AP, in my opinion, has nothing to do with it. We have gotten them every year (not this year yet though) since 2004, even when we have APs. We take one trip during the year we buy the AP and the next year before it expires, sometimes leaving lots of lag time between APs even though we go every year.

We've been told, and I throughly believe this, that marketing grabs people that fit a certain profile at the time--family size, past trips, saved trips, area of the country, children, no children, ages, etc--that are in their computer and send out the pins randomly from that. It varies all the time.
