Does going to often ruin the magic???

We go often and still love the mouse! We were just there a few weeks ago and planning to go back in Dec. Gotta see the Christmas decorations...

Nope.:goodvibes

There are always new things to do... restaurants, tours, attractions, special events, decorations, characters... I don't think I could ever get sick of Disney!!

The magic is always so unexpected in different places, it's never the same vacation twice.:lovestruc

For us, it would never spoil the magic. We usually try and go two or three times a year and I know we would go more if we could. It's been since June since we've been there and that's a longer wait than what it usually is for us. As you can see by my sig, it will be that long again till July 1. We may have to squeeze a short one in before July.

Thanks for all your responses. I let my husband read all of them and it helped tons. Now he has more than my word to go by. We decided to wait a bit longer for our next trip just because we want to spread the magic out over time instead of all at once. Thanks again!

we've been a lot of times to WDW and my mum and dad seem to be over it a bit.

but we go disneyland paris all the time (twice this year) and never get sick of it.

i think the heat in WDW puts us off a bit.

We've gone every year since 2003 and we look forward to the magic.

I enjoy it more now because we aren't hurried to see everything.

We have actually been three times in the last year and just got back last week. It was by far the most relaxing trip to date. We took our time and felt no need to rush. It was awesome! I wanted to go next month for free dining but decided to wait a little bit longer between trips. I want to go but have to be practical especially with the way the economy is right now. I miss it already!!!!

I go atleast twice a year. In the fall and in the spring. The magic is never ruined for me. I am going next week , and I already have my trip planned for the spring. I am just one of those crazy disney fanatics that I think will never tire of the parks. I have been hooked since I was a kid, and that was over 30 years ago.

I definitely don't think going often would "ruin the magic"! At Disney, there is such a sheer volume of things to do, see, eat, and try that you could never do it all in one trip. I've been many times, but only once during October when the Halloween decorations are up, so that was a new experience. And our next trip will be all of our (me & DH, my parents, and his parents) first trip in December. So just adding in all of the holiday festivities is a new "level" of magic we've never experienced at Disney. Add to that that I plan to try several restaurants none of us have ever eaten in, to hit the Boardwalk which we've never done, and go for a game of miniature golf which we've never done in Disney. It will almost be like an entirely new vacation destination with all we have planned! :santa:

I think if you spread the trips out, try new things each time or revisit things you haven't done in several trips, or just try going at a different time of the year, all of those things can enhance the magic, not take it away! pixiedust:

We are now preparing for our 3rd trip this year, Dec 13-21 and I am really excited, because we are taking extended family with us and some of them have never gone before. We went 3 times last year and once in 2005 and 2006. On the drive down in Sept, I was worried that I would be bored, but as soon as we pulled onto the Western Beltway, I got really excited, even though it was 4am and Dh and I had a great time, never got bored one bit.

I have worried about it again, but I know as each trip draws closer, I will be just as excited as I was on my first trip.

I think next time, though we are going to add Sea World to the itinerary.
