Does going from TTC to Epcot via monorail require security twice?

I think I know the answer to this but wanted to double check. One morning we are planning on taking the small boat from Magic Kingdom over to the Poly for breakfast, but after that we are planning on walking over to the TTC and boarding the monorail for Epcot. Am I correct in thinking we'll have to make two stops through security? (once at TTC and again at Epcot?). I mean it's not a big deal but thought I could let everyone know ahead of time.

The sidewalk from the Polynesian Resort enters the far left side of the Transportation and Ticket Center Security Check Point area. And for the time being the monorail exit to EPCOT is outside the EPCOT Security Check Point area.

At some point when they finish the EPCOT refurbishment entrance area, you won't have to go through the Security Check Point twice. But I don't know when that will be finished. I asked Security about this last May and that is what he said the plans were.

Thanks RaySharpton. Yeah, I remember last year sort of doing the opposite, I went from Epcot to TTC and got off to tour the Poly a bit and when I reboarded at Poly to head to Magic Kingdom I only had to do the one security check, it was a nice surprise. That will be nice to have it the same going both ways!
