Does February = not busy at parks

Would it likely be so cold at night in February that it would be uncomfortable on the outdoor rides? We just made reservations to visit February 20-21, 2015, which is after President's Day so I'm hoping the crowds won't be too bad. We've only visited previously during really warm weather. If it rains, is it usually something that doesn't last all day?

We went in mid November and it was cool but not uncomfortable. We al had long sleeves or jackets on but not heavy coats. Not sure how February is, but I mean, it's California. It doesn't get cold like Minnesota

I suppose it depends on where you are coming from too, we were coming from Oregon.

We went in late February 2011. The weather was great (I prefer cold to hot for park touring) and the crowds were very manageable. The weekends were still relatively busy, but during the week we practically walked onto a lot of rides. I'm sure things have changed in the few years since then, but I think early February would still be a pretty good time crowd-wise, and definitely worth taking advantage of cheap flights

As above, we were there late February. We were coming from a hot Australian summer, so our perspective may be slightly skewed. During the day we generally wore jeans and t-shirts with a light jacket. Some nights we were freezing and wore larger jackets, scarves and beanies.

We were never uncomfortably cold on any rides, but we did decide against doing GRR after dark.

In my experience when it is a cold day with or without rain in SoCal, it stays that way all day. The rain may come and go, but the cold that goes with the rain stays.

As long as you are dressed warmly enough I can't imagine not being able to go any rides at night. I suppose if it is an extreme cold spell that could happen but not at all likely.

Like zanzibar says, we like the weather to be cooler, rather than warmer, when we visit the Resort(probably because we come from Arizona!)

February is a great choice for this very reason!

When it has rained on us in February(only a few times, by the way), we have taken cover, but as soon as the rain stops, we have gotten right back out and enjoyed the Parks, no problem!

We go every February, and in our experience, the rain doesn't usually last all day, although it might remain overcast and windy, with cooler temps. We find it to be lovely, and this is one of our favorite times to be there---possible rain showers and all!

We also wear long pants and carry a light jacket with us during the days, and bring a warmer jacket with us for evenings. If you are worried about being cold, throw in a scarf, and a pair of gloves---we do!

The only attractions we have avoided at night, in February, are the ones in which you might get wet---Splash Mt., and Grizzly River Rapids! Everything else is do-able, and the lower crowds are so nice!

I think sometimes the nights seem even colder than they are because it's warm in the daytime when the sun is out. In February 2006, we wore coats/scarves/hats at night. But jeans and t-shirts during the day. However, I don't know how typical that really is. I think most years, a sweatshirt or light jacket would probably be plenty. (Though we'll have our winter gear too since we're coming from the midwest.)

Personally, I wouldn't ride the water attractions at night.
