that if it wasn't leap year, those of us who have a cruise booked would be one day close to leaving????!!!!!
:earseek:

Yes but some of us with health insurance that is going to expire get an extra day.....:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

lol bring on the cruise

And if it wasn't a leap year, I wouldn't be getting to celebrate my 3rd (12th) wedding anniversary!

Yes, but it also gives you one more day to get you even more excited about your upcoming cruise, not to mention, one more day to pack!!!

...and I get to celebrate Leap Year on the Magic!

Not really ...

The ship sails Saturday, February 28. The next date is Saturday, March 6. If there wasn't a Sunday, February 29 - the next date would have been March 7.

It still is the same number of days away! It's not as if the ship always sailed on Saturday, and now it will sail on Sundays.

It's just that the date of the next cruise is different due to February 29.

I actually did think of that (I figured someone would point it out!) - it just doesn't help when I look at the calendar and see that extra day in the middle!

Leap year really is making me wait extra days to cruise. If it wasn't leap year this year, the 20th of March would have fallen on a Friday instead of Sat. I would have taken the cruise the week before to celebrate our anniversary (the 20th) on Friday at CC. Because of Leap year, I have to wait an extra week to get on that ship. I didn't want to be getting off the ship on Sat. morning and have that be my ann. so we booked for the week starting on the 20th, at least we can celebrate over dinner that night even if the boarding stuff may be a bit stressful. Leap year threw a wrench into things for me at least......

giving me a headache! Too much figuring and numbers for my brain!

One more day to have to wait! It's the pits!

It's also one more day for me to crash-diet so I can go thru the midnight dessert buffet line three times!:Pinkbounc

Gosh, doesn't daylight saving time come into play here too? My daughter thinks it does when she counts how long until school is out for the summer.
