I had the old desktop widget and didn't find it very useful so I didn't load the new one. Does it really provide more information than what I can see online?

the new widget is much more helpful than the old one for sure. it's a much larger widget but you can of course minimize it on your desktop. I am sure all of the info it offers can also be found online, this just provides it all on your desktop w/o logging onto disney.com or looking elsewhere.

i find it is a resource suck, takes a lot of bandwidth, crashes a lot, and really doesn't do much other than provide a ticker (and what self respecting Disser doesn't already know how long before their vacation?! ..

It would be great if it would load your reservations, and give you tips specific to your trip, like historical weather and crowds, info about your resort, menus and dining info based off of your ADRs etc..

Am I asking for too much?! (I find it provides me a lot of info about DisneyLAND, when i am booked for Dinsey World as well)

We have it and love it. Everytime we turn on the computer we can see how many days to Disney vacation.
