Does everyone get this nervous the night before 180?

Or am I just crazed? I'm a total jitterbug right now... it's almost like I've spent the day sucking down starbucks double caf espresso shots.

I'm only hoping for CDR, BOG, LeCellier...

Seriously, does anyone else get this nervous?

I do!!! I get jittery for sure! I just eat my trip to be "perfect" and I get in my head that if I don't have the right ADRs it won't be a fun trip (even though it would all be fine!) try not to worry, even if you don't get what you need initially there are always cancellations, especially if you're flexible with times!

OMG!!! All three (plus Raglan Road, which I was not worried about)!!! I am so excited! And they're all right at the times I wanted - no compromise!
I am not comfortable trusting anyone to make plans for me, but I really have the best TA in the world!
Doin' the happy dance!!:dancer:

I use to, but I don't worry any longer. I've learned it's not worth the worry. Most of the time I get what I want and if I don't oh well life goes on, the sun comes up and goes down. Life is too short to worry about ADR's at BOG, California Grille, dessert party fireworks and etc. If I get them great, if not I move on and still have a great time.

Absolutely. Still live with my roommates (aka parents) thanks to high NY rent. I usually have a list of backups etc. ready to go. It's actually really funny the morning of our 180-day window. We always travel during Christmas so it's pretty imperative/difficult to get your ADRs in. Whereas I get a normal good morning seeing as my room is on the way to the bathroom, no one bothers me until I emerge from my room. Usually it's with a smile as I look at my family and say "it's done."

This year - no joke, I set a ton of alarms. I woke up at 6:40 but for a second I thought the clock said 8:40. I nearly FLIPPED. You know it's bad when your first thought is "I missed the ADRs" and not "I'm gonna be SO LATE for work."

Also, I never sleep well the night before ADR/FP+ day. I keep waking up checking the clock to make sure I don't oversleep.

Nope. It's just dining reservations and the enjoyment of any visit is not dependent on where we eat. For our trip last month I did not do any ADRs on the 180 day and we still got everyone we wanted and even cancelled and booked new ones while there. We just don't think the food at WDW is good enough to get all worked up about it.

Nope, nope, nope!! In fact, I never even make any ADR's right at 180 - usually forget. Always get the ones I want even if I have to try a few times. We're very laid back on our vacations, not a bunch of harried planning, and definitely don't tie ourselves to ADR's for every meal. Relax! Enjoy!
:goodvibes Life still goes on!! :)

Normally, I'm pretty laid back, but this time around, well, trip of a lifetime and all that. I was more like plutothedog than anyone else. We've never been to BOG or CRT, and as my DD is turning 18, I figure this is our last chance to make it really special - seeing as this is only the second time we've ever been and are not likely to get back there anytime soon.

I've never been this excited for dinner reservations in my life!

I'm glad you got your choices!

I used to worry about ADRs, but no more. I'm really not sure what all the frenzy is about on this board. In my experience, it is not hard to get an ADR, even a coveted one and we often go at busy times: free dining, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc. Maybe I lead a charmed life. The only ADR I didn't get was BOG on opening day and I simply waited too late in the morning to start trying. My bad.

There are so many good options out there that folks tend to overlook some really special restaurants. For example, we were walking around World Showcase recently and checked the app for dinner availability. I got an ADR at Tokyo Dining for 6 people with about 30 minutes notice. We had an amazing meal with outstanding service and beautiful surroundings.

Not at all. We've never even had the opportunity to have that 180 day runway. We always book our trips closer to the actual trip. Both last year and this year we booked our trip about a month out. And this year it's for Christmas week! Over the past few weeks I've gotten everything we've wanted, including breakfast AND dinner at BOG. I just check a few times a day, starting early in the morning. Inevitably they always pop up.

Yes because we are selective on where we eat. We don't do the most popular places, but mainly you worry that you get up early and are ready to go and BAM-it is a morning they are updating the system and nothing works. That is frustrating I've only been able to get one dinner at BOG in the past 2 years, split stays crinkle your availability.

So you got everything you wanted?

(told ya you would :p;))

I think irritated is the more appropriate mood... The last two years the online system just crashed, nothing new after reading about what people complain about on here. But what was irritating last year was I had to call and Disney's system completely crashed, so they couldn't even make reservations for me. Good times

My 180 day was this morning. 7 of 8 ADR's that I wanted I got including BOG lunch, Ohana, Chef Mickey's, HDDR, Le Cellier. The only hitch is that I got Mama Melrose F! dinner package instead of H&V. I was off my computer in 15 minutes.

I remember when I too was disappointed with my F! at Mama Melrose but figured that we would give it a try. We enjoyed it so much more than H&V! MM has got to be in our top ten at WDW now.

I am always nervous the day or two prior. I love the planning! The only one I could not get for June is Skipper Canteen and this was before the alcohol news was released.
