Does Everyone Get Rainier Cherries or are they local?

We get them here in Portland- I like them, but I still like the sweet bing cherries better!

I love them. We used to walk to a farmers stand on avondale after work every night to pick up some. Then my DH and I would walk home eating them and spitting the seeds into a bag. I miss that market, it is not as easy for me to get them anymore.

I love them, they were in Northern California and they are here in Florida too.

We have them here in MN, so they must be everywhere. I like them okay, but I actualy prefer the Bing cherries. And the Ranier ones are really expensive here. Of course, that is always an issue with fruit here, but they are quite high.

We have them here, but considering I'm just about 45 min. south of the OP, thats not surprising! :LOL

We have them here at the regular grocery stores in MD, but I like Bing better. I tried Ranier cherries last year and was not impressed.

They are the best! We only get them for a few weeks a year at the grocery store, but I love them!!!

I know we get them in Florida and I've seen them here in the DC area.

So they do get exported to other parts of the country.

And they are DE-LISH!

We never buy cherries (my sister is allergic or something), but I think we only get Bing cherries here. I don't know what those are, but that's what is in the grocery ad.

I first had them on a trip to Washington State in 2002, bought at a fruit stand....wow they were good!

Now I buy them here in TN but they are available for only a limited period of a few weeks. I get them at Sams Club...they are usually cheaper and fresher there.

We get them here in small town Arkansas. They are about a couple of $$ more than what we paid for them in Washington. I love 'em.
