Staying at BCV in Fall while husband attends conference. He will stay with us at night but will be gone for most of the day (and the meals). I would like to get on the DDP for me and the kids. Can it be done?

Not if he is listed on the reservation.

Everyone 3 years and older listed on the reservation must participate in the DDP. It's an all or none. Of course, you could simply not list him on the reservation.

Thanks for all of the quick replies..I did not know if DVC rooms required everybody to be on plan>
If he is listed and does have the DDP, that doesn't mean he has to use the points...you and your family could use his points. They are not specifically linked to individuals per se. They are in one large pool. Depending on the length of yoru stay, it might just mean one more TS, CS and snack for your entire family.

I was thinking along the same lines. Even if you did get the DP for your husband, you could use the credits while he's in the conference. And, if there are times when he'll be out of the conference and wants to have dinner with the family, he can use his credits then. When I was at a conference, I typically had to fend for myself for dinners (which can be the most costly!).
